Here are the Gregorian Calendar Appointed Moedim Days of YHWH for 2024
These are the Appointed Moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations--MY MOADIM.... (Lev23:2) Spring Feasts
Ends nightfall of Tuesday, April 30, 2024 No work permitted on April 23 - 24 and April 29 - 30. Work is permitted only on April 25 - 26 and April 28 These are the appointed feasts of Adonai, holy convocations which you are to proclaim in their appointed season. During the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Adonai’s Passover. (Leviticus 23:4-5 TLV) Get rid of the old hametz (leaven), so you may be a new batch, just as you are unleavened--for Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast not with old hametz, the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread—the matzah of sincerity and truth. 1Cor 5: 7-8 Note: The traditional time to begin Passover is in the evening at the end of the day.
On the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Matzot to Adonai. For seven days you are to eat matzah. On the first day you are to have a holy convocation and you should do no regular work. Instead you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation, when you are to do no regular work. (Leviticus 23:6-8 TLV)
When you have come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you are to bring the omer of the firstfruits of your harvest to the kohen. He is to wave the omer before Adonai, to be accepted for you. On the morrow after the Shabbat, the kohen is to wave it. (Leviticus 23:10-11 TLV)
Then you are to count from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the omer of the wave offering, seven complete Shabbatot. Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat you are to count fifty days, and then present a new grain offering to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:15-16 TLV) When the day of Shavuot had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And tongues like fire spreading out appeared to them and settled on each one of them. Acts 2:1-4 Fall Feasts
Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Begins sunset of Wednesday, October 16, 2024 Ends nightfall of Wednesday, October 23, 2024 No work permitted on October 17 - 18. Work is permitted on October 20 - 23 On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Feast of Sukkot, for seven days to Adonai. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation--you are to do no laborious work. For seven days you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:34-36 TLV) The eighth day will be a holy convocation to you, and you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. It is a solemn assembly--you should do no laborious work. (Leviticus 23:36 TLV) And on in the future: Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, (The Lord of Hosts) and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. Zech 14: 16-17 TLV (the Feast will be kept in the future with a punishment of "no rain" for those nations which refuse) In summary we keep the Feasts because Yah commanded it: These are the moadim of Adonai (<-the feasts of the Lord) which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations..Lev 23:37 Yeshua kept them. They will be kept in the future as commanded by God in Zechariah and they hold a wealth of knowledge and information about the Messiah of prophesy fulfilled and to be fulfilled. Yeshua kept Passover, He kept Tabernacles & He kept the Feasts. He is sinless/a lawkeeper before God, He is YHWH in the flesh---The Word made flesh---and it is commanded, in the Word, to keep them. These are the FEASTS OF ADONAI Lev 23:37
Grafted into Israel: If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 True enough. They were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear— Romans 11: 16-20 TLV The Feast of Dedication/Hanukkah is not a commanded Feast or Moadim. However, Yeshua did celebrate it and used it as an opportunity to present the gospel in the temple: SEE JOHN 10: 23-32 Yeshua made a three-day journey from Nazareth to be in the Temple during the Feast of Dedication/Hanukkah. "Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade."-----

Hello again scattered friends and family in Messiah! Do you not know that to whatever you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to what you obey—whether to sin resulting in death, or to obedience resulting in righteousness? Rom 6:16 If I routinely follow my sinful nature (lawlessness) I am a slave to lawlessness. ( Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness—indeed, sin is lawlessness 1 JN 3:4) Conversely if I am obedient to YHWH I am His slave. But now, having been set free from sin and having become enslaved to God, you have your fruit resulting in holiness. And the outcome is eternal life. Rom 6:22 So then... Where is your allegiance? *to lawlessness (sin) * to YHWH (keeping His commands/Torah) We know that we love God’s children by this—when we love God and OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS. For this is the LOVE of God—that we KEEP His COMMANDMENTS. And His COMMANDMENTS are NOT burdensome. 1 John 5:2-3 TLV Now a certain Torah lawyer stood up to entrap Yeshua, saying, “Teacher, what should I do to gain eternal life?” Then Yeshua said to him, “What has been written in the Torah? How do you read it?” And he replied, “You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” Yeshua said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.” Luke 10:25-28 TLV
Most of the western church is actually following man-made "holidays" and customs handed down by the pope/Catholic church with NO scripture to support such practices. People blindly follow due to tradition. But didn't Yeshua chastise the pharisees for doing the same thing!? Then Yeshua spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying, “The Torah scholars and Pharisees sit on the seat of Moses. So whatever they tell you, do and observe. But don’t do what they do; for what they say, they do not do. They tie up heavy loads, hard to carry, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves aren’t willing to lift a finger to move them. All their works they do to be noticed by men. They make their tefillin wide and their tzitziyot long. They love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called rabbi by men. Matt 23:2-7 What is the correction here? The pharisees tie up heavy loads, hard to carry, and lay them on men's shoulders.. ie: they wear extra long tzittzit, all of their works they do to be noticed by men (in addition to the Torah) “Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5: 17-19 Why did He fulfill the Torah? So He could be our sinless lamb. He had to walk in Torah completely so that the curse could be demolished *Messiah liberated us from Torah’s curse, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree* Gal4:13 The Scriptures show that Paul, an apostle personally trained by Yeshua, was still Torah observant some 25 years after his conversion, would that cause you to rethink the traditions of church fathers (men who did not write Scripture) who say the opposite? So we come down to this:
Remember YHWH set forth HOW He wants to be worshipped. He deems what is acceptable and unacceptable. Interestingly when the Israelites created the golden calf to worship do you know they said: Then they said, “This is your god, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt!” When Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. Then Aaron made a proclamation saying, >>“Tomorrow will be a feast to Adonai.”<< They rose up early the next morning, sacrificed burnt offerings and brought fellowship offerings. The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to make merry. EX 34:5-6
Choosing how to worship according to traditions whether passed down via church or family does not make it "okay." How does YHWH tell us to worship Him? These are the appointed moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations—My moadim. Lev 23:2 Are you serving/worshipping?

Phil 4:13 Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! Believers that belong to Messiah: Nobody in the body of Messiah can hold onto bitterness, unforgiveness, and tout it as justified. "Pursue shalom with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; and see to it that no bitter root springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled." Hebrews 12:14-15 TLV " Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves in tender compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience— bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord pardoned you, so also you must pardon others" Colossians 3:12-13 TLV Regarding forgiveness : Yeshua said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." Matthew 18:22 TLV " They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world." John 17:16 TLV We, who belong to Messiah, must rise up above our culture in allegiance to our KING. We do not belong to this world. "if indeed you have heard Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Yeshua. With respect to your former lifestyle, you are to lay aside the old self corrupted by its deceitful desires, be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self—created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.< Ephesians 4:21-24 TLV Those in Messiah are family: whether believing Jew or grafted in believer and regardless of ethnicity or native nationality. In scripture among believers, there is no nationality, there is no ethnicity. There are children and heirs of Yah and those who are still unrepentant sinners. That's it. Do not be fooled and make an idol of these things for they are passing away and hold no value in the kingdom. Do not let unforgiveness take root either in refusal to obey Yeshua's command. "For all who are led by the Ruach Elohim, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall again into fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Ruach Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, also heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Messiah—if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Romans 8:14-17 TLV After these things I looked, and behold, a vast multitude that no one could count--from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues—was standing before the throne and before the Lamb. Revelation 7:9 TLV "The one who says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in the darkness. The one who loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. " I John 2:9-10 TLV BOTTOM LINE : But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a HOLY NATION, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were “not a people,” but now you are “God’s people.” You were shown “no mercy,” but now you have been shown “mercy.” I Peter 2:9-10 TLV Believers need to rise above worldly nationality and identifying factors to who Yah says we are and the customs/culture & Holy Days He left for us as instructed. We are not of the world. But you are not of the world, since I have chosen you out of the world; therefore the world hates you.- JN 15:`19 TLV
This is not just once a week or a few times a yr. No, Messiah left us instructions/commandments, Holy Days, that cover every day decisions, choices, character development (Fruit of the Spirit) how to deal with conflict, forgiveness etc. The Feasts follow an annual cycle and each Feast points to HIM in preparation for the coming kingdom. This is your time to study, to show yourself approved. (2 Tim 2:15) The kingdom is coming.... * Forgiveness doesn't always mean things go back to however they were before the offence; this is very situationally dependent. New Boundaries are at times necessary for shalom. But forgiveness is a must:

Phil 4:13 Hello scattered friends and family in Messiah! The season of Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) is upon us! Adonai spoke to Moses saying: “Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, and say, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Feast of Sukkot, for seven days to Adonai. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation—you are to do no laborious work. For seven days you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. The eighth day will be a holy convocation to you, and you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. It is a solemn assembly—you should do no laborious work. “These are the moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to Adonai—a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day, besides those of the Shabbatot of Adonai and besides your gifts, all your vows and all your freewill offerings which you give to Adonai. “So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you are to keep the Feast of Adonai for seven days. The first day is to be a Shabbat rest, and the eighth day will also be a Shabbat rest. On the first day you are to take choice fruit of trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and rejoice before Adonai your God for seven days. You are to celebrate it as a festival to Adonai for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations—you are to celebrate it in the seventh month. You are to live in sukkot for seven days. All the native-born in Israel are to live in sukkot, so that your generations may know that I had Bnei-Yisrael to dwell in sukkot when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am Adonai your God.” So Moses declared to Bnei-Yisrael the moadim of Adonai. Lev. 23:34-44 TLV
Many modern Sukkot celebrations will have families using various forms of tents, or temporary 3 sided structures called a sukkah, to celebrate. For the duration of the holiday some observers go camping to dwell in their sukkah. Others will: pray, eat and may even sleep in their sukkah/tent. It is important to note that the prophet Zechariah provides vital information on how this will be celebrated during the millennial kingdom. Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, and to celebrate Sukkot. Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. ech 14:16-17 TLV During the Millennial reign of Yeshua we will ALL be celebrating Sukkot. This is serious business. So why is it that most churches decline to obey the KING now? In John 7:2 we see that the time of Sukkot was "at hand." Yeshua waited for the most opportune moment (JN 7:1-10) and it was at the height of the 7th day celebration, "on the last day of the great day of the feast" Yeshua was at the Temple in Jerusalem... About halfway through the Feast, Yeshua went up to the Temple and began teaching. Then the Judean leaders were amazed, saying, “How does this man know so much, having never been taught?” Yeshua answered, “My teaching is not from Me, but from Him who sent Me. If anyone wants to do His will, he will know whether My teaching comes from God or it is Myself speaking. Whoever speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Hasn’t Moses given you the Torah? Yet none of you keeps it. Why are you trying to kill Me?” The crowd answered, “You have a demon! Who’s trying to kill you?” Yeshua answered, “I did one good work, and all of you are amazed. Because Moses has given you circumcision (though it is not from Moses, but from the patriarchs), you circumcise a man on Shabbat. If a man receives circumcision on Shabbat so that the Torah of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry that I healed a man’s whole body on Shabbat? Do not judge by appearance, but judge righteously.” Then some of the people from Jerusalem were saying, “Isn’t this the person they’re trying to kill? Look, He speaks openly and they’re saying nothing to Him. Can it be that the leaders know He is the Messiah? But we know where this person is from. But the Messiah, whenever He may come, no one knows where He is from.” Then, while teaching in the Temple courts, Yeshua cried out, “You know both who I am and where I am from! I have not come on My own, but the One who sent Me is true. You do not know Him, but I know Him because I am from Him and He sent Me. Then they were trying to seize Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come. Yet many from the crowd believed in Him and were saying, “When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this person has, will He?” The Pharisees heard people in the crowd murmuring these things about Him, and the ruling kohanim and Pharisees sent guards to arrest Him. JN 7: 14-32 TLV Consider what Zechariah said about Sukkot: "Adonai will then be King over all the earth. In that day Adonai will be Echad and His Name Echad.- Zech 14:9 TLV Yeshua declared Himself to be the living water, the fulfillment of the promises of God, Sukkot is a time of rejoicing in Him and the hope of all of the promises that are in Him, "yes and amen." (2 Cor 1: 20) Messiah promises, Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture says, ‘out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.- JN 7:38 TLV Messiah's grace is all sufficient for your life. During this time/ season of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) I pray that you seek Him for understanding and wisdom in keeping the Feasts as He did and as we will in the future reign. May this be a season of blessing upon you and your household! HalleluYah!! Have a blessed celebration rehearsal for the wedding feast to come. Do Bible things in Bible ways.... Follow the footsteps of the Master and KING. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of Hosts, who was and who is and who is to come!” Rev 4:8 TLV RELATED BLOG POSTS:

Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! Wow, what an exciting time! Our fellowship, family and, children have certainly enjoyed this time together. Above, are 3 links, to different ministries: Jacob's Tent & Triumph in Truth are for the adults. Trained up in Torah is for children. I do hope you will take time to watch! The Day of Blowing / Trumpets — points to when the Messiah will appear in the heavens as a Bridegroom coming for His bride, the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:52) We annually celebrate in faith and hope the 'practice announcement,' until He comes. It is a joyous occasion! In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest, a memorial of blowing (shofar), a holy convocation. You are to do no regular work, and you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:24-25 TLV) By His will we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Messiah Yeshua once for all. Indeed, every kohen stands day by day serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. >>But on the other hand, when this One offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God<< Hebrews 10:10-12 TLV

May this time be a blessed celebration for you and your family! Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. They are just resources, curriculum, etc that have blessed our family and may bless yours!* Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah. Our family and church are ramping up to celebrate the Fall Feasts! The first fall feast, Yom Teruah, means, Day of Blowing (A.K.A The Feast of Trumpets.) Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets) is referring to the blowing of the shofar (ram’s horn), which is likened to the sound of God’s voice calling to His people. How desperately His people need to heed His voice at this hour.... and sound the alarm: Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble-- for the day of Adonai is coming-- surely it is near!(Joel 2:1) The Feast of Trumpets / Yom Teruah is coming up - It is a time of making joyful noise unto Adonai! Sing for joy to God our strength, shout to the God of Jacob! Lift up a song and sound a tambourine, a sweet lyre with a harp. Blow the shofar at the New Moon. Psalm 81:1-4 TLV The feast of Yom Teruah is also known as the “Day of the Last Trump”: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this corruptible will have put on incorruptibility and this mortal will have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 1 Cor 15:52-55 TLV For the Lord Himself shall come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the blast of God’s shofar, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. 1 Thess 4: 16 TLV The Shofar was/is used to intimidate the enemy, to declare war, and to call people to assembly, the shofar is one of the oldest wind instruments in the world.' The army of Israel marched around Jericho to the signal of the shofar (Josh. 6). Today lets look here: Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the land will mourn, and they will see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send out His angels with a great shofar, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matt 24:30-31 When that shofar sounds for many it will be an exciting time of celebration to meet the KING. For others/unbelievers it will be a signal of dread. But the shofar on the Feast of Trumpets is a celebratory time "to practice" the arrival of the KING. To annually celebrate in faith and hope the announcement until He comes. It is a joyous occasion! After the Spring Feasts of Passover, First Fruits, and Shavuot, The Feast of Trumpets marks the beginning of the 3 Fall Feasts. Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) The Spring Feasts significance has already been fulfilled both in the First (Old) Testament and prophetically in Yeshua (Jesus). The Fall Feasts WILL BE FULFILLED when Yeshua (Jesus) returns. HalleluYah!! RESOURCES:

I hope you are refreshed after a restful Shabbat with fellowship and family and a nice weekend. Well this is a long one- so let's dive right in...Grab your favorite drink: coffee, tea, sparkling water--get your fuzzy blanket or comfy slippers... and join me! 1 Cor 12:27 Now you are the body of Messiah, and members individually. The model of "church" in the west is very fractured and broken. But what many people think of when they hear the word -church- is a building, a location. But scripture tells us believers, "are the body of Messiah." Furthermore, ----do not neglect our own meetings, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another—and all the more so as you see the Day approaching.- Heb 10:25 So growth and accountability happen when believers gather. It doesn't need be in a "church building." Preferably, not a 501c3 that has government overlords because the body of Messiah does not belong in bondage to a government tax code/system where the government can attempt to constrain what can be preached. As a believer and follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I am grafted into Israel by the blood of the Messiah Yeshua. I’m no longer a gentile.
I did not learn this in "church" There are twelve gates into the New Jerusalem (what the church calls heaven), each one named for one of the 12 Tribes of Jacob. There is no "gentile" or "Christian gate". Messiah Yeshua says He came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
I did not learn this in "church" The church teaches the law is done away and abolished at the cross. Messiah Yeshua said He did not come to do away with the law.
I did not learn this in "church" SIN is LAWLESSNESS. Sin is the breaking of the Law or Torah. To be without the Law is to be lawless. Lawlessness means not having the Law, Torah - and it means to be against YHWH. The Torah is good, perfect, just, right, pure, etc. Psalm 119. The Bible teaches against being lawless.
I did not learn this in "church". Scripture repeatedly says: If you love YHWH you will keep His commandments
I did not learn this is "church". What was nailed to the cross was the CURSE of the law NOT YHWH’s just, pure, perfect, good Law and Will/Torah.
I did not learn this in "church." While keeping/guarding Torah and the moedim is not going to save anyone.... it is a joy to be pleasing to Adonai and there is a blessed peace and rest that comes in doing those things that are pleasing to Him. It is not a struggle or hardship. It certainly is not bondage as most of the western church would have people confused into believing. Through belief in Yeshua, the Indwelling Set-apart Spirit gives the believer the "want to" and the "power to" be obedient. This is the "Good News" we are commanded to tell all people. (Eze. 36:25-27, Jer. 31:31-34, Rom. 7:18-8:4, Mark 16:15-16) Moreover I will give you a new heart. I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the stony heart from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Ruach within you. Then I will cause you to walk in My laws, so you will keep My rulings and do them. - Ezek 36:26 TLV I did not learn this in "church." Exodus 20:8-11 is YHWH’s command to remember the 7th day Sabbath and to keep it holy --- it does not change, and it is the only one of the 10 commandments He specifically said, "REMEMBER, the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work.... I did not learn this in "church." In Leviticus chapter 23 (and other places), YHWH gave His people feasts and holy days and commanded they be kept yearly. They are memorials and rehearsals for future events that teach all about Messiah. HalleluYah! I did not learn this in "church." YHWH commands that I worship Him: His way, keep His commands and His Holy Days, not the world’s. In fact, He tells me NOT to worship Him the way the world worships their gods, with worldly holidays and events like Christmas, Easter, Lent, Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday, Valentines Day, abortion, materialism, sexual debauchery, and so many other worldly practices. These are things YHWH calls sins and abominations. Jeremiah 10, Deuteronomy 12:4, 12:31 The Torah, indeed, sets us apart, in covenant to Yah as His people. Set apart, from all other people, because we choose to obey/guard His commands, His Holy Moedim, and walk in His ways separate from the world. For this is the will of God—your sanctification- 1 Thess 4:3 TLV Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”2 Cor 6;17-18 TLV I did not learn this in "church." YHWH lays out plainly what He considers food and not food for His people. Clean and unclean. Leviticus 11, Acts 10 I did not learn this in "church." If I read and study my Bible and endeavor to follow what it says, this *IS* the Will of YHWH, NOT legalism. Obedience is the fruit of my salvation, and sanctification, not the root. Obedience pleases Abba Yah; it does not trample on the cross or blood of Messiah.
I certainly did not learn this in "church." When Messiah ascended into heaven after his death, burial, and resurrection, He sent the Holy Spirit/Ruach Ha Kodesh back, whose purpose is to teach YHWH’s people and enable us to walk out the Father’s commands in our daily life. Walking in the Spirit means to follow the Law of YHWH, the Torah, through the leading and enabling of the Holy Spirit. I did not learn any of this in "church." In general, the church claims to be leading souls to Messiah, preparing the body of Messiah to be the bride of Messiah, and that it is THE representative of Messiah to the lost, but the church teaches nearly everything except the Word of the as Messiah taught it and lived it. Instead the church, in general, is turning many away from truth, leading them into spiritual adultery and apostasy, therefore denying the Father, His Word, and His character. The church is appeasing the world, modern culture, and bowing down to secular culture instead of, "coming out from among them." In some cases the "church" is not even distinguishable from the rest of society. The church teaches that we don’t need to regard the First Testament, because it’s history and doesn’t apply today. The church teaches that God changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
Please read your Bible. You need your own relationship with YHWH and understanding of what His word says. Coming out from the traditions of men and the "roman rooted" traditions in the church that are not Biblical in precedent. Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 Hello readers and scattered family in Messiah!! I hope you are preparing to celebrate with your family and fellowship as we are. Such an exciting time. The Feast of Shavuot (AKA as the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost) is celebrated in late spring at the time of the early wheat harvest in Israel. Shavuot is 50 days or seven weeks after Passover, hence "Feast of Weeks." The 1st mention of the this Feast is in Exodus 23:14-17 TLV : Three times in the year you are to celebrate a festival for Me. You are to observe the Feast of Matzot. For seven days you will eat matzot as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Aviv, for that is when you came out from Egypt. No one is to appear before Me empty-handed. Also you are to observe the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors that you sow in the field, as well as the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your crops from the field. Three times in the year all your men are to appear before Adonai Elohim. {You can also see: Lev 23: 16-21, Numbers 28:26-30} In the Biblical record it was later recognized as the day the Torah (Law) was given from YHWH on MT Sinai to Moses. The most well known mention of this celebration in the Second Testament is in Acts 2:1-4 TLV When the day of Shavuot had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And tongues like fire spreading out appeared to them and settled on each one of them. They were all filled with the Ruach ha-Kodesh and began to speak in other tongues as the Ruach enabled them to speak out. Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be immersed in the name of Messiah Yeshua for the removal of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach ha-Kodesh. For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away—as many as Adonai our God calls to Himself Acts 2:38-39 TLV Thus Shavuot is associated with both the giving of the Torah and the outpouring of the Ruach ha-Kodesh! How to celebrate? Well this may vary slightly from house to house and fellowship to fellowship. BLOW the shofar, read associated scriptures, worship, sing, dance, eat good food and praise YHWH for He is good and His mercy endures forever! -Ps 136:1 TLV Baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu, melech ha-olam Shehecheyanu v’kiy’manu v’higiyanu laz’man hazeh Blessed are you, Oh Lord our God, king of the universe Who has granted us life, and sustained us, and brought us to this season- in the Name of Yeshua, Amen!! SHABBAT SHALOM!! Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 Well hello dear readers and scattered family in Messiah! I pray you have had a blessed: Shabbat, Passover, and First Fruits celebration. This yr. our church family (The Narrow Way Torah Observant Fellowship) had a small gathering of about 12 people in 5 families and it turned out very nice. For Passover we blew the shofar, celebrated, and had fellowship, with a simple meal (mashed potatoes, lamb, unleavened bread, Mississippi pot roast, green beans with the symbolic sides) with our church family with a Gospel- centered Remembering Redemption Haggadah we read. However, it is a PDF file and I am not sure how to share it here for you all. If you would like it and reach out to me individually I can email it to you. We are celebrating First Fruits at home reviewing Yeshua's resurrection in Scripture and beginning the Omer countdown to Shavuot {otherwise known as "Pentecost"} Each yr is a little different but we typically do a craft, and the children are gifted some sweets and a devotional of some sort. We often watch: GOD WITH US by Voice of the Martyrs which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B01N18F3F5/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r I encourage you to start counting down to Shavuot and get ready to celebrate! Here shortly I will do a blog post only about Shavuot and it's significance but for now we can rest here in the First Fruits victory of Messiah. Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 Words of Wisdom: Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the days to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom— a lesson of kindness is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and bless her, her husband also praises her Proverbs 31: 25-28 TLV Well hello again friends and readers! Not going to try and cover it up at all...this week has been so crazy busy ---time seems to be running away from me. I haven't even been able to start the work for my 2nd week of Pathophysiology this wk....which is a bummer. All of that to say I am late with this blog post. But better late than never, right? Eh, I'm going to say that to make myself feel a wee bit more responsible. LOL Anyhow, this is not going to be doom and gloom because that's not my style. But I am logical, detail oriented, and a planner...All believers that belong to Messiah should well know by this point that time is short. We do not know the "day or hour" but we can see the signs of the times loud and clear. I want to use this platform at this point in time to implore you to get your house in order both spiritually, and physically. That will look a little differently for each person/family depending on several factors, lifestyle, location etc. But some simple tips. 1) Come out from among them: the world and "roman-rooted western" deception and walk in obedience to His Torah/law, keeping His feasts, Shabbat and guarding His ways 2) Homeschool your children if at all possible...
-> (The Narrow Way Torah Observant Fellowship) 4) Do what you need to do to gradually become more self sufficient. Learn how to garden (Our church fellowship is starting a small garden to learn, just that, this year) followed by canning, and eventually prayerfully a small homestead 5) Have a first aid kit, extra food and water, extra medications if you have a need for regular medicine 6) Whatever the world is focussed on (sports, movies, political drama)-- you should not be. There is always a diversion. ALWAYS. Right here is where your focus and attention should live and breathe-->focusing on Yeshua, the initiator and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame; and He has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God.HEB 12:2 Our Western churches follow "another gospel" not the one delivered to us by Yeshua Messiah and sadly many of them have become social clubs. Very little discipleship is occurring overall.... You can judge this quite simply by looking at the number of people who claim to follow Messiah and compare it to the values our society is embracing, the rate of divorce and fatherless households, cohabitation, etc. We have an urgent need for authentic DISCIPLESHIP. The western church loves the idea of "mental agreement" with scripture with no accountability and no FRUIT. Thus the western church is aiming to blend in and not upset the dynamics of the culture. Where as we are told to be SET APART, and COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM. We should be leading not blending in or following. I am passionate about this topic because I love Messiah and I am passionate about the growth of His people. IF you belong to Messiah YOU WILL PRODUCE FRUIT OF OBEDIENCE. "If you love Me, you will obey My commandments"- John 14:15 The time of coddling needs to stop. Stand up & take your position in the body and march to the beat of His commands. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything to sand firm. Stand firm then!" Ephes. 6:12-14 TLV Ezekiel 36:26-27 Moreover I will give you a new heart. I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the stony heart from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Ruach (Spirit) within you. >>>>then I will cause you to walk in My laws, so you will KEEP My rulings and DO them. <<<<<
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He trims so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I will abide in you. The branch cannot itself produce fruit, unless it abides on the vine. Likewise, you cannot produce fruit unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for apart from Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch and is dried up. Such branches are picked up and thrown into the fire and burned. “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you. In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples.” “Just as the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you. Abide in My love! If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.- John 15:1-10 TLV additonal resources 3 seperate links to discuss Home fellowship:1) Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 Biblical Feast Days 2) Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 Understanding the 1st & 2nd Covenant 3) Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 For more information on the 2nd / New Covenant in action in the life of the believer please click FAITH & WORKS ...:: Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 HalleluYah!
