Here are the Gregorian Calendar Appointed Moedim Days of YHWH for 2024
These are the Appointed Moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations--MY MOADIM.... (Lev23:2) Spring Feasts
Ends nightfall of Tuesday, April 30, 2024 No work permitted on April 23 - 24 and April 29 - 30. Work is permitted only on April 25 - 26 and April 28 These are the appointed feasts of Adonai, holy convocations which you are to proclaim in their appointed season. During the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Adonai’s Passover. (Leviticus 23:4-5 TLV) Get rid of the old hametz (leaven), so you may be a new batch, just as you are unleavened--for Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast not with old hametz, the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread—the matzah of sincerity and truth. 1Cor 5: 7-8 Note: The traditional time to begin Passover is in the evening at the end of the day.
On the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Matzot to Adonai. For seven days you are to eat matzah. On the first day you are to have a holy convocation and you should do no regular work. Instead you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation, when you are to do no regular work. (Leviticus 23:6-8 TLV)
When you have come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you are to bring the omer of the firstfruits of your harvest to the kohen. He is to wave the omer before Adonai, to be accepted for you. On the morrow after the Shabbat, the kohen is to wave it. (Leviticus 23:10-11 TLV)
Then you are to count from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the omer of the wave offering, seven complete Shabbatot. Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat you are to count fifty days, and then present a new grain offering to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:15-16 TLV) When the day of Shavuot had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And tongues like fire spreading out appeared to them and settled on each one of them. Acts 2:1-4 Fall Feasts
Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Begins sunset of Wednesday, October 16, 2024 Ends nightfall of Wednesday, October 23, 2024 No work permitted on October 17 - 18. Work is permitted on October 20 - 23 On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Feast of Sukkot, for seven days to Adonai. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation--you are to do no laborious work. For seven days you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:34-36 TLV) The eighth day will be a holy convocation to you, and you are to bring an offering by fire to Adonai. It is a solemn assembly--you should do no laborious work. (Leviticus 23:36 TLV) And on in the future: Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, (The Lord of Hosts) and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. Zech 14: 16-17 TLV (the Feast will be kept in the future with a punishment of "no rain" for those nations which refuse) In summary we keep the Feasts because Yah commanded it: These are the moadim of Adonai (<-the feasts of the Lord) which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations..Lev 23:37 Yeshua kept them. They will be kept in the future as commanded by God in Zechariah and they hold a wealth of knowledge and information about the Messiah of prophesy fulfilled and to be fulfilled. Yeshua kept Passover, He kept Tabernacles & He kept the Feasts. He is sinless/a lawkeeper before God, He is YHWH in the flesh---The Word made flesh---and it is commanded, in the Word, to keep them. These are the FEASTS OF ADONAI Lev 23:37
Grafted into Israel: If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 True enough. They were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear— Romans 11: 16-20 TLV The Feast of Dedication/Hanukkah is not a commanded Feast or Moadim. However, Yeshua did celebrate it and used it as an opportunity to present the gospel in the temple: SEE JOHN 10: 23-32 Yeshua made a three-day journey from Nazareth to be in the Temple during the Feast of Dedication/Hanukkah. "Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade."-----

Hello scattered friends and family in Messiah! I love to read! I am reading 3 books right now:
However, I am typing today to share a bit of what I learned from my reading today: "Walking in the dust of Rabbi Jesus (Yeshua)"- Lois Tverberg She explains that mainstream Christians tend to take an "all or nothing," approach to Torah (pg 137). We, our family, and fellowship do not do that because we understand it is a lifelong process of growth/sanctification. It is better to KEEP the Torah and guard it to the best of your current: ability, growth, and understanding. That ability will grow as your relationship with YHWH grows and you flex working those muscles of faith + obedience. Contrary, "In their (Jewish) minds, the Law teaches them how to live in a way that pleases a loving God and upholds their covenantal relationship. Because of this, Judaism often shows a surprising pragmatism toward people's weaknesses. People are encouraged to keep aiming to obey God's laws, even if they do so imperfectly. The idea is that if you can't be entirely obedient, do your best to do what you and can and try even harder tomorrow." (pg 137) AMEN! "If you are not going to be better tomorrow than you were today, then what need have you for tomorrow?- Rabbi Nachman of Braztlav (1772-1810) I have shared this many times and up front Christians often "like" the posts or commentary but don't push themselves deeper into keeping: Torah, Feast Days, Shabbat as instructed in Scripture and lived out by Messiah Yeshua as our example: You are saved by grace through faith so that no man can boast... And justified apart from works, correct... but let's continue... The outworking or fruit of salvation is keeping Yeshua's commandments (Torah) If you love Me, you will keep My commandments: John 14:15 For He said: "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."Matthew 7:17-20 ) as the scripture says: Do we then nullify the Law by this faith [making the Law of no effect, overthrowing it]? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law (Torah) [since it convicts us all of sin, pointing to the need for salvation].Romans 3:31 AMP "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (Torah)or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law (Torah)until everything is accomplished. (Is everything accomplished yet? No.) So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:18).
> But we know that the Torah is good if one uses it legitimately- 1 Tim 1:8 > So then, the Torah is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Rom 7:12 > So you are to keep My statutes and My ordinances. The one who does them will live by them. I am Adonai. Lev 18:5 The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of Adonai is trustworthy, making the simple wise. 9 The precepts of Adonai are right, giving joy to the heart. The mitzvot of Adonai are pure, giving light to the eyes. 10 The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of Adonai are true and altogether righteous. 11 They are more desirable than gold, yes, more than much pure gold! They are sweeter than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. 12 Moreover by them Your servant is warned. In keeping them there is great reward. PS 19: 8-12 THE TORAH OF ADONAI IS PERFECT. Yeshua did not come to abolish the Torah/Law. The Torah brings: joy and blessings, restores the soul, makes the simple wise, gives light to the eyes, and is more desireable than gold, in keeping His Commands is "great reward." Oh how the community of Messiah has been misled by Catholic heresies and modern watery sermons.... Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and appeal in the Lord Yeshua—just as you received from us the way you ought to walk and please God (as in fact you are walking)—that you keep progressing more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Yeshua. 3 For this is the will of God--your sanctification 1 Thess 4:1-3 If you cannot stop yelling at your kids... yell less today than the day before. If you struggle submitting to your husband; pick 1 area to submit to him in genuine obedience. If you cannot stop gossiping altogether- gossip less, set apart maybe an hour or two to do nothing but uplift and encourage others and keep all negativity in your mind and lay before YHWH when those intrusive thoughts come up. Take 1 step. Take another step. Keep coming, keep submitting, keep seeking and take back the Covenant that is ours the blessings that are ours in Torah have been hidden in deception for a good 1500 years. But now for such a time as this.... there is a remnant rising coming back to HIS ways out of the traditions and denominations of men. Out of the divisions and lukewarm... We are rising as we rise let's bring another brother or sister to freedom from deception....then we can both go back for another lost soul or another sibling left in the bondage of lies... 1 by 1 let us leave "Egypt" and cross over as Hebrews into His ways: His Torah, His Appointed Days, His Shabbat as we are SET APART unto Him. Part 2 to follow..... Phil 4:13 Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope you all are doing well! When I wrote: Ambassador for the King part 1 & 2 this is the general message I was aiming to get across to people. We the mispacha of Elohim DO NOT BELONG TO AMERICA or any worldly nation/kingdom. Brethren we need to "come out of her" Out of the cultural norms of America and back to the culture of HIS KINGDOM. Yes, this does include the culture of: Shabbat and Appointed Times...of keeping the Commandments and walking in love as an ambassador for Messiah. But it is so much more! As believers in Messiah we are here on ASSIGNMENT as AMBASSADORS of a kingdom and on behalf of THE KING : We are therefore {ambassadors} for Messiah, as though God were making His appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to God. II Corinthians 5:20 TLV This world is not our home, this culture is NOT our culture. The kingdoms of this earth are not our kingdoms.... If you are entangled with the back and forth of highlights of this broken country or world, LET IT GO. LIFT YOUR EYES "I think the time has come that we fully follow in the footsteps of Abraham, that we leave our nation behind rather than trying to rearrange the deck-chairs on the Titanic, and really live as foreigners and strangers until we fully realize the hope of the arrival of our King and the Kingdom of God. One of the main reasons the early Christians overcame under the harshest circumstances is that in their minds and hearts they truly left their homeland and lived as strangers and pilgrims looking by faith for Kingdom of God. This is a completely different mindset than modern American Evangelical Christianity which has been merged with patriotism. “Now the LORD had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, ..." (Gen. 12:1-4) "'By faith' Abraham, having been called, obeyed, migrating to the place which he was expecting to receive as the inheritance. And he left not knowing where he was going. 'By faith' he lodged in the Land of promise as a foreigner, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the co-heirs of the same promise. For he was waiting for the city having foundations, whose designer and fashioner is God." (Hebrews 11:8-10) IMO, we have reached the point of no return as a nation and Christians need to brace for it. The sooner we adopt the mindset of "strangers and pilgrims" living benignly in a foreign land, the better it will be for us. And it will keep us focused on "the hope set before us." That is a hard pill to swallow for the majority of Evangelical Christians. But the road to the "Promised Land" and the Kingdom of God goes through the wilderness following in the footsteps of Abraham by faith. The first step in that path definitely involves leaving our homeland behind in our hearts and minds, (Heb. 11:8-16)." - written by retired pastor See: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.Once you were “not a people,” but now you are “God’s people.” You were shown “no mercy,” but now you have been shown “mercy.” I Peter 2:9-12 TLV " We are a people, a priesthood, a HOLY nation, a people for God's own possession---" This is not a loose use of words it is an identity that YHWH's people are beginning to wake-up to slowly as they come back into Torah covenant and keeping His commandments. Remember whom you are and to Whom you belong. Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope you all are doing well! The Catholic church is built upon lies and CLAIMS to be descended from the disciples but the Bible itself disagrees with this. Let's investigate: But this I confess to you, that according to the Way (which they call a sect), I worship the Elohim of our fathers, believing everything written in the Torah and the Prophets. 15 In God I have a hope—which these men also wait for—that there will surely be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. ACTS 24:14-15 A sect of what?? Judaism
It is important to note that early Christians were not considered members of a separate religion. Instead, they were seen as members of a somewhat radical Jewish sect. This would explain why both the traditional Jewish community and the pagan Romans considered early Christians as troublesome political and religious agitators SOURCE: Worldhistory.edu Then Barnabas left for Tarsus to look for Saul, 26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met together with Messiah’s community and taught a large number. Now it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called “Christianoi. (Christian= Christ follower/Messiah follower) Acts 11:25 Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time you are trying to persuade me to be Messianic!” 29 And Paul said, “Whether short or long, I would pray to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today would be such as I am—except for these chains!”- Acts 26:28-29 They claim Peter was the 1st Pope. This is NOT true. Peter was a Messiah following JEW. Peter was central in the spread of the gospel (Matthew 16:18-19), the teaching of Scripture, taken in context, nowhere declares that he was in authority over the other apostles, or over the church (having primacy). See: Acts 15:1-23; Galatians 2:1-14; and 1 Peter 5:1-5. It is never taught in Scripture that the bishop of Rome, or any other bishop, was to have primacy over the body of believers. Scripture shows that Peter’s authority was shared by the other apostles (Ephesians 2:19-20) Was Peter the first pope? The answer, according to Scripture, is an emphatic “NO.” Peter nowhere claims supremacy over the other apostles. Nowhere in his writings (1 and 2 Peter) did Peter claim any special role, authority, or power over the body of believers. Nowhere in Scripture does Peter, or any other apostle, state that their apostolic authority would be passed on to successors. Yes, the Apostle Peter had a leadership role among the disciples. Peter played a crucial role in the spread of the gospel (Acts chapters 1-10). Yes, Peter was the “rock” that Messiah foretold he would be (Matthew 16:18). These truths about Peter in no way give support to the concept that Peter was the first pope, or that he was the “supreme leader” over the apostles, or that his authority would be passed on to the bishops of Rome. Peter himself points us all to the true Shepherd and Overseer of the body of believers, the Yeshua HaMashiach. For you like sheep were going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls 1 Peter 2:25 Would Messiah hand over His bride to corruption/ deception? No, He would not hence why He did not hand over His bride to be Catholic. He taught His Jewish disciples by example how to walk out the Torah and they taught others as Messianic Jewish believers bring the Way to gentiles and teaching about being grafted into Israel, into Covenant, (see Romans 11) Messiah did indeed warn that false teachers would come: false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and show great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. MT 24:24 Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. 14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the way that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” Mt 7: 14 >>The number of followers within Catholicism is NOT a testament to it being correct. In fact, per Messiah’s own Words. Quite the opposite. Come out from the traditions & teachings of men: Forever, Adonai, Your word stands firm in the heavens. JN 10:30 * The commandments did not change * The expectation of obedience (good fruits) did not change It was never about Jews being Israel. Jews are 1 tribe out of Israel's 12 tribes. There is one law for the stranger and the home born. A gentile is someone who is outside of covenant. We have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. If you are in Messiah you ARE NOT A GENTILE see Ephesians 2:11-14 [11] Therefore, keep in mind that once you—Gentiles in the flesh—were called “uncircumcision” by those called “circumcision” (which is performed on flesh by hand). [12] At that time you were separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. [13] But now in Messiah Yeshua, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. [14] For He is our shalom, the One who made the two into one and broke down the middle wall of separation. Within His flesh He made powerless the hostility. Notice the definition attached of a gentile. It is the nations. Heathens. You are not a gentile when you are covered by the blood of Messiah. (Grafted in: Rom11)

In fact, He says, "If you love Me you will keep My commands." JN 14:15 He redeemed us from the CURSE that we might be saved Romans 3:31 Do we then, void the Law (Torah) by this faith? Not at all! Stop in for a visit, invite a friend. Hope to see you all there! Welcome back friends, readers, and new faces! I hope you have had a blessed week! The Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot is coming up starting tomorrow EVE Friday 9/29-10/6. It is the last of the Fall Feasts and a joyous occasion. So I wanted to take some time to explain. Let's dive in! These are the moadim of Adonai (<-the feasts of the Lord) which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to Adonai—a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day, 38 besides those of the Shabbatot of Adonai and besides your gifts, all your vows and all your freewill offerings which you give to Adonai. 39 “So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you are to keep the Feast of Adonai for seven days. The first day is to be a Shabbat rest, and the eighth day will also be a Shabbat rest. 40 On the first day you are to take choice fruit of trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and rejoice before Adonai your God for seven days. 41 You are to celebrate it as a festival to Adonai for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations. Leviticus 23:37-41 TLV
John 7:1-2 Therefore Yeshua (Jesus) said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always at hand. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify that its works are evil. 8 You go on up to the Feast. I’m not going to this feast, because My time hasn’t yet fully come.” 9 After saying these things, He stayed in the Galilee. 10 But after His brothers went to the Feast, He also went, not openly but secretly. 11 Then the Judean leaders were searching for Him at the Feast and kept asking, “Where is that fellow?” 12 There was a lot of murmuring about Him in the crowds. Some were saying, “He is good.” But others were saying, “Not so! He leads the people astray.” 13 Yet no one spoke openly about Him for fear of the Judean leaders. 14 About halfway through the Feast, Yeshua (Jesus)went up to the Temple and began teaching. JN 7: 6-14 TLV So Paul still remained a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow. And he came to Ephesus, and left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, but took leave of them, saying, >>“I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.<< Acts 18:18-21 Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, (The Lord of Hosts) and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. Zech 14: 16-17 TLV (the Feast will be kept in the future with a punishment of "no rain" for those nations which refuse) Anyone new to the Feast of Tabernacles, also known as Sukkot. Here is a simple explanation of it; It's a rehearsal for a future event where Yeshua will Tabernacle with us again, which simply means be with us.
The tent idea is a reminder we are in temporary dwelling places until we get to be with Yah permanently in the New Jerusalem, that will come down to earth. It also symbolizes the time when the Israelites were able to escape their slavery from the Egyptians and had to live in tents for 40 years. Its also a metaphor of how we escape and come out of the things of this World! Coming out of the traditions and the ways of man and religion. We hence Cross Over or Pass Over from the things of this World into the things and Ways of YHWH! This is where the word Hebrew comes from, one who has passed or crossed over! Enjoy your Tabernacle Time with Yah. He is our Banner, Covering, and Shelter. May He Overshadow us with His Glory and Presence during this set-apart Time. Be with us Always Yah in Spirit, until we are one with You permanently. Oh how we await this with great joy and anticipation. A quick google search can give you all kinds of ideas for how to decorate your own Sukkah or purchase one. The intent and motives of the heart are known by Yah and may He be with you. HalleluYah!! Bible notes from our family study: We are forbidden from taking the name of YHWH (or taking up the name or bearing the name, as the phrase could be translated) in a manner that is wicked, worthless, or for wrong purposes. Examples:Leviticus 19:12 and Hosea 10:4 mention not swearing falsely with YHWH'S name. YHWH'S name should not be used to deceive others. Jeremiah 23:25 says not to prophesy lies in YHWH'S name, and Leviticus 18:21 even mentions child sacrifice to Molech as something that would profane the name of the Lord. Misusing the Lord’s name is not as simplistic as saying statements like, “Oh my ____,” even if such statements are inappropriate & wrong. The wrong use of the Lord’s name, the one the Bible warns against is using YHWH'S name for evil. Doing that would require much more intent, effort, and indicate that we do not have the right relationship with Him. We should strive to exalt His name . We are therefore ambassadors for Messiah, as though God were making His appeal through us. 2 Cor 5: 20 For we are His workmanship—created in Messiah Yeshua for good deeds, which God prepared beforehand so we might walk in them. Well I wanted to take some time after reviewing some old notes to just talk about "being doers of the Word," maybe just this one post or maybe a series of posts. We shall see. *shrugs shoulders*
Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding, and must be held in with bit and bridle or they will not come to you.” PS 32:8-9 Be prepared to step into action with faith. This is not a walk alone. The Ruach is with you and will guide you. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not put his trust in the name of the one and only Ben-Elohim. Well let's dive in: First: let’s establish that His Law (Torah) is eternal: Truth is the essence of Your word, and all Your righteous rulings are eternal. PS 119:160 So then, the Torah is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Rom 7:12 Secondly: Establish the definition of Sin/Lawlessness: Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah — indeed, sin is violation of Torah. 1 JN 3:4 Third: Words of Messiah: Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.- MT 5:17-20
So what is:--until all is accomplished or completed---? Answer: not until heaven and earth pass away- Messiah Yeshua Furthermore: vs 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot /commandments and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. This statement should send us into prayer and reevaluation of what the romanized/western church is teaching. The Messiah said this Himself I and the Father are one. JN 10:30 Now a certain Torah lawyer stood up to entrap Yeshua, saying, “Teacher, what should I do to gain eternal life?” Then Yeshua said to him, “What has been written in the Torah? How do you read it?” And he replied, “You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” Yeshua said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.” Luke 10:25-28 TLV
The Scriptures show that Paul, an apostle personally trained by Yeshua, was still Torah observant some 25 years after his conversion, would that cause you to rethink the traditions of church fathers (men who did not write Scripture) who say the opposite? Yeshua plainly said He did not come to “destroy” the law. The Greek word translated destroy (Greek, katalyo) can also be translated “dissolve,” “demolish,” “abrogate” or “deprive of force.” Instead of abolishing the law, He came to fulfill (pleroo) it—which means to “make full,” “fill up” or “accomplish He fulfilled/accomplished the law in that He never broke it. He is SINLESS, (sin=lawlessness) thus taking the curse of the Torah/law that we, who believe, would not be under the curse any longer. - - -Rom7: 22 For in my inner self I COMPLETELY agree with God's Torah/law (and as you read you can see the battle Paul speaks of between the 'law of sin' this is our natural state of being, in sin, in lawlessness. You can see this working within him against the Law of God/Torah.) In conclusion : Who will rescue me from this body bound for death? Thanks be to God [He will]! — through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord! To sum up: with my mind, I am a slave of God’s Torah ; but with my old nature, I am a slave of sin’s “ Torah .” Romans (Rom) 7:24-25 ------ Through Yeshua we are rescued from the curse/condemnation of the Torah/ law "The Messiah redeemed us FROM THE CURSE pronounced in the Torah by becoming cursed on our behalf... ”Galatians (Gal) 3:13 "I will put my Torah in their minds, and write it on their hearts." - Hebrews 8:10
Through belief in Yeshua, the Indwelling Set-apart Spirit gives the believer the "want to" and the "power to" be obedient. This is the "Good News" we are commanded to tell all people. (Eze. 36:25-27, Jer. 31:31-34, Rom. 7:18-8:4, Mark 16:15-16) But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord! For never have I eaten anything unholy or unclean. Acts 10: 14
This agrees with: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. In unrighteousness they suppress the truth, because what can be known about God is plain to them—for God has shown it to them. His invisible attributes—His eternal power and His divine nature—have been clearly seen ever since the creation of the world, being understood through the things that have been made. So people are without excuse— for even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. Instead, their thinking became futile, and their senseless hearts were made dark. Claiming to be wise, they became fools. They exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image in the form of mortal man and birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Rom 1: 18-23 Prayerfully this reaches you. Prayerfully it spurns you to seek Abba YHWH more and push aside the traditions and false teachings that have infiltrated the ekklesia via the Roman deception.... Stop in for a visit, invite a friend. Hope to see you all there! Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope you all are doing well. Sometimes you just need a refresher/reminder of something you already knew- I hope if you take the time to read this & it is a blessing to you- Have an awesome day! Breaking bondage is never free. Freedom always costs something. Rom 6:6 “…..knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” 1 Cor 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. Our freedom was purchased with the blood of Messiah. We are a blood-bought people, therefore believers, physically and spiritually belong to YHWH. He went so far as to place a seal upon us who believe: “After you heard the message of truth—the Good News of your salvation—and when you put your trust in Him, you were sealed with the promised Ruach ha-Kodesh. He is the guarantee of our inheritance, until the redemption of His possession—to His glorious praise! Ephes 1:13-14 There we see that “purchased & bought” concept again. We are not our own- we belong to YHWH. Our relationship with Him is one of many complexities-- it is multi-faceted. It is akin to seeing the top of an iceberg in the middle of a vast ocean but knowing that 85% remains out of sight. Each little glimpse spins my mind in circles- how amazingly deep is the depth of our All-powerful God, the depth of His love, the pursuit of His people, the privilege to be recognized as belonging to Him. Out of the many ways that we can understand YHWH as a: Father, King, Creator, Husband-- as we are the bride of Messiah,--- He is Omnipotent, YHWH-Yireh (our provider) our Rabbi or Teacher---He is in fact our Master and we are His people bought & purchased in His own blood. We are expectant of YHWH to keep up His end of the Covenant ie: forgiving us, loving us, always being there…..saving us from dire circumstances, and even performing miracles. Yet, we as a people are slack on keeping up with OUR end of the Covenant of accepting Messiah’s offer to complete liberation from our bondage to be a slave of righteousness to Him as our King-Adonai and Master. We seek out ways to excuse those things which we deem too demanding upon us, and our limited time. Wherefore YHWH commands in return: Yeshua replied: And He said to him, “‘You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire Torah and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. MT 22:37-40 I urge you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice—holy, acceptable to God—which is your spiritual service. Rom 12:1 There is this one thing that brings YHWH immense pleasure. Obedience- Messiah Himself says: “If you love Me keep My commandments.” JN 14:15 God is Merciful –All Powerful, Beginning and End of all. He is the Father who has adopted believers as children and heirs granting us astounding privileges in the here and now with greater things to follow. He is YHWH who sets the captives free from oppression whether of people or sin- Even though we have nothing of value to offer Him- He is pleased with a humble and contrite spirit before Him. For thus says the High and Exalted One who inhabits eternity, whose Name is Holy: “I dwell in a high and holy place, yet also with a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and revive the heart of the contrite.- ISA 57:15 This act of being “a slave of righteousness, and of YHWH” is not like the slavery that one would force upon a human being. Such as we view slavery normally. This is a willing servitude to YHWH out of heartfelt understanding and thankfulness for all that YHWH has done for us as a people. It is not forced upon us- just as the Hebrews in Exodus chose to follow Moses out of Egypt though some would rather have stayed- leaving left them with more questions than answers…left them with an unknowable future…. So also we must choose to accept Messiah’s invitation and choose to desire to leave our bondages in sin to become a servant to YHWH. Even this opportunity is only by His mercy and grace extended. Our service to Him is what is reasonably expected of us: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Rom 8:28 For I know the plans that I have in mind for you,” declares Adonai, “plans for shalom and not calamity—to give you a future and a hope. Jer. 29:11 The modern western, "roman-rooted" church has done all it can to teach people the opposite. That the Torah/law is bondage. When scripture teaches the truth: Torah is the way Ps. 119:1 Torah is truth Ps 119:142 Torah is life. Deut 32:46-47 Messiah is the way, the truth, and the life JN 14:6 Messiah = Torah in the flesh JN 1:14 I certainly will never comprehend the full depth of this intimate, amazing relationship between Creator-YHWH and human beings—but I thank Abba for the tiny glimpses and revelations He grants me to deepen my understanding and challenge my walk. Be blessed friends! Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 for additional reading:
