Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope you all are doing well. ROM 15:13 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as YOU TRUST in Him so that you may overflow[ie:*to pour over the limits or fill beyond capacity-] with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (my emphasis) ~~ I love when YHWH shows forth these little gems- I included part of the dictionary definition of "overflow" into the scripture for a deeper understanding. Let that sink in- your responsibility is to "trust in Him" SO THAT "you may overflow" or be filled beyond holding capacity-with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit! Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope you all are doing well. Self evaluation: are you walking through life hurriedly, anxious, feeling burdened? striving, v: exert oneself vigorously, making great efforts to achieve or obtain something vs Striding, v:walking with long decisive steps in a specific direction. Stop striving : "Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."-Matt 11: 28 If you hold His hand and walk in pace with Him. You won't feel rushed, anxious, overwhelmed... "He continued walking" through the panic, bustle, surge of emotions etc around Him. He kept His stride...and walked. striving, v: exert oneself vigorously, making great efforts to achieve or obtain something vs Striding, v: walking with long decisive steps in a specific direction. Stop striving; see the story of Jairus and his dying daughter (Mark 5:21-43) Jairus came to Yeshua rightly concerned and emotional...in all that was around Yeshua and a woman within the crowd was also seeking healing and touched Yeshua , taking his attention away from Jairus momentarily.... Yeshua never got anxious, rushed etc. While in the crowd and bustle Jairus rcvd word his daughter had died... can you imagine? Vs 36 As soon as Yeshua heard the word that was spoken, He said to Jairus, "Do not be afraid, only believe." Yeshua NEVER broke His pace, He didn't panic and run towards the house... "He continued walking...." vs 40-41 they ridiculed Him...He took the mother and father of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. Then He took the child by the hand and said to her, "Little girl, I say to you, arise" Immediately the girl rose and walked... And the shalom of YHWH which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua. - Phil 4:7 Be still and know that I AM God. "God never gives you more than you can handle"....is a popular quote.... To the contrary, He does allow it. It is not more than you can handle WITH HIM....but on your own....yes your strength will fail. He allows it “to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead” (2 Corinthians 1:9). If you’re facing some overwhelming adversary or adversity and you wonder how YHWH could possibly deliver and work it for your good (Romans 8:28), then take heart. As the psalmist says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling” (Ps. 46:1–3). When our strength is failing under crushing burdens, the answer is not within. God gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak (Isa. 40:29). The power comes from Him to those who wait on Him. “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison” (2 Cor. 4:17). You might not consider overwhelming sufferings to be “light” and “momentary,” but think of your trials in terms of eternity . In the middle of affliction, sometimes the most difficult thing to hold onto is an eternal vision. Paul isn’t trying to minimize your affliction; he’s trying to * maximize your perspective.* Suffering doesn’t get the last line in the script. In this life, YHWH will allow more than you can handle, but the coming weight of glory will be greater than you can imagine. He cannot be our deliverer if we have nothing to be delivered from.... He cannot be our Redeemer with nothing to Redeem us from....He cannot be our Strength if we can do it all on our own....He cannot be our shalom if we are never troubled in this life..... John 16:33 "I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world." As the title states this is going to be "short & sweet" But whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God is truly made perfect. We know that we are in Him by this— whoever claims to abide in Him must walk just as He walked. 1 JN 2:5-6 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and ‘you will find rest for your souls.’ For My yoke is easy and My burden is light Matt 11:28-30
RESULT of obedience= I will give you rest

Let's lay down these struggles that are so exhausting at His feet and learn from Him.... walk it out. This journey with Messiah is life changing and so refreshing! May your walk be blessed! Phil 4:13 Hello again scattered friends and family in Messiah Yeshua! Interesting subject. YHWH may not always share things publicly even when you are involved. We can dig into this with the scriptures below. In day to day life: YHWH may speak to one person and not another: YHWH giving Abram the promise of the promised land: Then Adonai said to Abram, “Get going out from your land, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you. My heart’s desire is to make you into a great nation, to bless you, to make your name great so that you may be a blessing. My desire is to bless those who bless you, but whoever curses you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. Gen 12:1-3
Gen 22:2-18 The binding of Isaac
Noah build an ark Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh is coming before Me, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Behold, I am about to bring ruin upon them along with the land. Make for yourself an ark- Gen 6:13-14
Moses told to go to Egypt Exodus chapters 3-4
Peter in Acts 5 Annanias and his wife: After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter responded to her, “Tell me if you sold the land for this much.” She said, “Yes, for that much.” Then Peter said to her, “How did you agree to test the Ruach Adonai? Look, the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door—they will carry you out, too!” Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came back in, they found her dead and carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came over the whole community and all who heard these things.
John 21: 20-22 Peter, turning around, sees the disciple following. This was the one whom Yeshua loved, who also had reclined against Yeshua’s chest at the seder meal and said, “Master, who is the one who is betraying You?” Seeing him, Peter said to Yeshua, “Lord, what about him?” Yeshua said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”
One of our greatest privileges is having access to the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit)!! Wow...if we stop and pause and think on that for a minute..... Guard the good that has been entrusted to you, through the Ruach ha-Kodesh who dwells in us. 2 TIm. 1: 14 TLV He dwells in us....
Yah is good! HalleluYah If you are at a place where following Yah leaves you at odds with others because they do not understand the Word which has been given to you, which most, Torah (Whole Bible believers) have experienced....or because they do not believe what YHWH has spoken to you even though He has given you Biblical confirmations. Let them be. You are not accountable to them or for them. You are responsible for your own obedience. We are to be led of the Ruach, and are accountable to YHWH alone, not opinions of men/women. "Let us run with endurance the race set before us, focusing on Yeshua, the initiator and perfecter of faith."- Heb 12:2 YOU CAN NOW CONNECT WITH US ON FACEBOOK HERE! : (1) Pursuing the upward call | Facebook This is a public "personal blog" pg via Facebook to make it easier for readers to connect and share. Phil 4:13 Hello scattered family and friends in Messiah! I hope all of you are well. Well.... we live in a time of mass confusion as people fall away from the Truth and all types of lawlessness (sin) is glorified, even idolized. Most churches are not even teaching the fullness of YHWH's Word. Strange teachings crop up from time to time. But we can always turn to the source of Truth and must weed through the mire and follow the Shepherd and He will lead us and lose none of His. But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; but whatever He hears, He will tell you. And He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine. For this reason I said the Ruach will take from what is Mine and declare it to you.” John 16: 13-15 TLV YHWH did not leave us helpless, and, in fact told us in advance to prepare for such warfare. --> Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you are able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm then! Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. Strap up your feet in readiness with the Good News of shalom. Above all, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish ALL the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephes 6: 10-17 TLV If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper so He may be with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him. >>>>You know Him, because He abides with you and will be in you. <<<<I will not abandon you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:15-18 TLV
John 6:39 TLV
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What harmony does Messiah have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.” 2 Cor 6: 14-18 TLV To Him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear His voice. The shepherd calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. “When He has brought out all His own, He goes ahead of them; and the sheep follow Him because they know his voice. They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:3-5 TLV I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from the One who called you by the grace of Messiah, to a different “good news”— not that there is another, but only some who are confusing you and want to distort the Good News of Messiah. But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should announce any “good news” to you other than what we have proclaimed to you, let that person be cursed! As we have said before, so I now repeat: if anyone proclaims to you “good news” other than what you received, let that person be under a curse! Am I now trying to win people’s approval, or God’s? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Messiah. Gal 1:6-10 In all the passages dealing with spiritual warfare, there are no instructions to cast a demon out of a believer (Ephesians 6:10-18). Believers are told to resist the devil (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9), not to cast him out in regard to believers. Demons are routinely cast out of the unbelievers. The apostle John declares, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Who is the One in us? The Ruach Ha'Kodesh (Holy Spirit.) Who is the one in the world? Satan and his demons. Therefore, the believer has overcome the world of demons, and the case for demon possession of a believer cannot be made scripturally. It is important that we do not allow personal experience to influence our interpretation of Scripture. Rather, we must filter our personal experiences through the truth of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Our experiences must meet the test of Scripture, not the other way around. There is a distinct difference between being possessed by a demon and being oppressed or influenced by a demon. Demon possession involves a demon having direct/complete control over the thoughts and/or actions of a person (Matthew 17:14-18; Luke 4:33-35; 8:27-33). Demon oppression or influence involves a demon or demons attacking a person spiritually and/or encouraging him/her into sinful behavior. "You have overcome them because GREATER IS HE that is in you than he that is in the world--"For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall again into fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15 TLV

Phil 4:13 Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah. Peace is something we experience in our own hearts, not something dependent on our circumstances or achieved by others’ choices/actions or inactions toward us. When you understand that concept, you can embrace peace regardless of your circumstances, and experience stillness. It’s in the stillness and rest of His presence when we get to know who Yah really is and understand His instruction thousands of years ago to “Be still, and know that I am God” PS 46:10 My soul, wait in stillness, only for God-- from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress—I will never be moved.- PS 62:2-3 Regardless of the turmoil in the world, the chaos around you, the choices and decisions of others coming and going. Nothing can steal your peace outside of you giving it away or forfeiting it. Be still, wait in stillness.... He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. Refuse to be moved. AMEN! In Mark 4:35-41 we read that one evening Yeshua said to His disciples, Let us cross over to the other side," of the lake.... So, they left the crowd in a few boats: A great windstorm arises, and the waves were rushing into the boat. The boat was beginning to fill up. But Yeshua was in the back of the boat, sleeping on a pillow. They wake Him up and say to Him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are perishing?” So He woke up and rebuked the wind. And He said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, and it became totally calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Even now you have no faith?” Mark 4:37-39 The disciples panicked as we all do from time to time. But, remember Whom you serve. Even the wind and waves obey Him. There is nothing you will face near or far that He is unaware of. He is not caught off guard. Do not be anxious about anything—but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua Phil 4:6-7 Pray and tell Yah what you need, and thank him for all He has done. Let the shalom of Messiah rule in your hearts—to this shalom you were surely called in one body. Also be thankful. Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. I hope you have been well. The ministry on this side has been BUSY!! We have been blessed with the opportunity to share the gospel and truth of Torah (and the Feasts) again this past weekend. HalleluYAH for what Abba Yah is doing. Upcoming baptisms and child dedication on the way. What is evident it that there is a great sifting going on right now. Adonai (The LORD) is sifting the wheat from tares...the sheep from goats...in society and culture. I cannot tell you how many messages I have received from sisters grieving the division between them and family or the loss of "friends," because they stand in allegiance with Yeshua, the WORD of Truth and Life. Stand Firm friends in Messiah. Do not yield. I don't speak with men privately like that but I know from our small congregation and my husband's life. The same is applicable to men. The battle is real, friends. With this in mind I truly want to encourage you. I know especially when it is your family... a parent, a niece or nephew...a brother or sister.... a cousin .... etc that can really break your heart when they break off communication or refuse you access to children in your family etc. Yeshua warned us of this. That does not make it easier. But allow His words to comfort you. He will never leave or forsake you ( Heb 13:5). You have One who goes before You (Deut 31:8). He sees every loss, He counts every tear (Ps 56:8) “I came to pour out fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already ablaze! But I have an immersion to endure, and how distressed I am until it is finished! “Do you suppose that I have come to bring shalom on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. From now on there will be five in one house in opposition, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law" -Matt 12:49-53 - Yeshua The world/culture will be offended... Yeshua causes offense and He speaks truth. He offended the culture to the point of death by crucifixion and He still spoke truth. The scripture image above from Matt 15: 12-14 says, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?" But He replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Leave them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”- Yeshua "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. Phil 4:13 Well hello again friends, readers, and scattered family in Messiah!
I hope all of you are doing well as we near our weekly blessing of Shabbat. Counting down to sunset Friday eve..... Let's chat: I know at least for myself the past 3-4 months have really been a struggle/battle with anxiety due to some changes that were not going particularly well. My "fight or flight" was in full swing as I was frantically: looking, planning, seeking solutions..... Lo and behold Abba Yah had a plan I was unaware of that was unfolding behind the scenes that took into consideration everything I was freaking out about. Today after 3 months of: crying, fretting, anxiousness, lost sleep.....etc.... Problem solved and it was not solved at my hand or by my "grand plan." I imagine He must have been staring at me blankly shaking His head, "o daughter of little faith" I feel awful too. I know everyone has jokes about the lack of faith of the wandering Israelites.... how could they have lacked faith after all they had seen and experienced.... *crickets* well.... I know better. I know Him better.... Repentance is needed here, a U-turn in every sense of the word. Anxiety /fear/depression are such prisons. They may not have literal shackles but they are prisons. Do not be anxious about anything--but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua Phil 4: 6-7TLV Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise—dwell on these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—put these things into practice, and the God of shalom will be with you Phil 4:8-9 TLV When anxiety, fear, depression etc come to grip you and drag you away in those shackles... Think on these things {Phil 4:8-9} submit EVERYTHING to Yah in prayer WITH THANKSGIVING =the shalom of God will guard your hearts and minds in Messiah Yeshua. {Phil 4:6-7} Put on some worship music, journal, take a walk, pray .... do what you have to do but break the line of thought to destruction...break the line of thought to anxiety and "fix your eyes on Yeshua", the initiator and perfecter of faith- Hebrews 12: 2 Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua.
