Well hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! So there's a lot that can be said about Biblical womanhood, character, virtue..... etc. It's a broad topic and this wee little blog post is barely scratching the surface. Abba Yah recently spoke this verse to me (1 Peter 3:3-4) specifically as my husband and I were going through some challenges. I took down some bullet points that I aim to work on:
Marriage has been a beautiful journey unlike any other. A journey of happiness, and tears...a journey of laughs, and disagreements... a journey of distance and growth. Marriage also involves a lot of growing/maturing. The intimacy between the two people involved goes so much deeper than anything simply physical. My husband is my best friend, he sees all those different sides of me. He knows me better than any other person ever will. No matter what we go through or what we have been through the picture is "US" and then - everyone else- we are ONE. This last situation has brought us closer, we came out stronger, together. Glory be to Yah for all He has done! So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.- Matt 19:6 TLV AMEN! Let us all as believers in Messiah be willing to: Do nothing out of selfishness or conceit, but with humility consider others as more important than yourselves, looking out not only for your own interests but also for the interests of others. Phil 2:3-4 TLV Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13

Well hello dear readers and scattered family in Messiah! I pray you have had a blessed: Shabbat, Passover, and First Fruits celebration. This yr. our church family (The Narrow Way Torah Observant Fellowship) had a small gathering of about 12 people in 5 families and it turned out very nice. For Passover we blew the shofar, celebrated, and had fellowship, with a simple meal (mashed potatoes, lamb, unleavened bread, Mississippi pot roast, green beans with the symbolic sides) with our church family with a Gospel- centered Remembering Redemption Haggadah we read. However, it is a PDF file and I am not sure how to share it here for you all. If you would like it and reach out to me individually I can email it to you. We are celebrating First Fruits at home reviewing Yeshua's resurrection in Scripture and beginning the Omer countdown to Shavuot {otherwise known as "Pentecost"} Each yr is a little different but we typically do a craft, and the children are gifted some sweets and a devotional of some sort. We often watch: GOD WITH US by Voice of the Martyrs which can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B01N18F3F5/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r I encourage you to start counting down to Shavuot and get ready to celebrate! Here shortly I will do a blog post only about Shavuot and it's significance but for now we can rest here in the First Fruits victory of Messiah. Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 Hello everyone! I wanted to give you all a little boost to get your week started and remind you what our purpose is and the direction we are going. This is a marathon, not a sprint.... stamina, and perseverance to the end is what the journey requires. We are here as "ambassadors" of a King and Kingdom not of this world. Every time you walk out your front door you are in the "mission field." We are therefore {ambassadors} for Messiah, as though God were making His appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to God. II Corinthians 5:20 TLV "Therefore leaving the basic teaching of the Messiah, let us move on toward maturity"-- HEBREWS 6: 1 TLV * BEWARE SPIRITUAL IMMATURITY: " For although you ought to be teachers by this time, again you need someone to teach you the basics of God's sayings. You have come to need milk, no solid food. For anyone living on milk is inexperienced with the teaching about righteousness--he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who through proactive have their senses trained to discern both good and evil." HEBREWS 5:12-14 TLV Proactive: controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened.
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself as having taken hold of this. But this one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and STRAINING TOWARD WHAT IS AHEAD. I PRESS TOWARD THE GOAL for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 3:14 TLV Settle on the integrity of the Word Integrity: the state of being whole and undivided. (complete, upright, perfection) Identity of the Word: In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:1-4 TLV (The Word= Yeshua Messiah) * You have: Personal responsibility in being in the Word (Bible) and seeking Adonai *Berean mindset: Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, because they received the message with goodwill, searching the Scriptures each day to see whether these things were true. Acts 17:11 TLV
This journey is unique to each individual and it is a long and often jostling one.... ups, downs, tears, laughter, joy, utter sadness, despair, peace beyond measure...... challenges and growth. He changes you, molds you, challenges you...BUT HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. related blog posts :
Countdown to: Passover, Unleavened Bread & 1st Fruits.....
And He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this -> Passover<- with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will never eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” And when He had taken a cup and offered the bracha, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. For I tell you that I will never drink of the fruit of the vine from now on, until the kingdom of God comes.” And when He had taken matzah and offered the bracha, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, given for you. Do this in memory of Me.” In the same way, He took the cup after the meal, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you. Luke 22:15-20 TLV
YHWH says these are MY FEASTS/ Moadim (strongs: H4150 from H3259 an appointment/fixed time or season; specifically a festival by year. By implication an assembly. ) -> which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. These are the appointed moadim of Adonai, which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations, MY MOADIM.
