Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! Let's see here: "The pharisees were offended," by Yeshua.... So, recently a dear friend of mine stirred a, "hornets nest," by simply stating a Biblical truth. The "offended" rose up in hordes and descended in mass. Tis the culture we live in. But one that is irrelevant to scripture. Being offended: does not change: Yah, the Word, or Truth. But, even, Yeshua Messiah caused offense.... those who follow Him earnestly, will likewise, find themselves in His shadow. Judgment, teaching rebuking, exhortation, convincing: Any believer should first examine themselves for sin and repent. But we are told in scripture: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt 28:19-20 John 7:24 which teaches us "Do not judge according to appearance, but with righteous judgment" -> Matt. 7:15-16 "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheeps clothing but are ravenous wolves. YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS" You make a judgment by their fruits...their actions, the words they speak etc and compare it to the Word of God incorruptible and of absolute truth. And again: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 Tim 4:2.
cause (someone) to believe firmly in the truth of something. REBUKE is a correction. verb express sharp disapproval or criticism of (someone) because of their behavior or actions. And EXHORT, exhorting; the act of inciting to laudable deeds; incitement to that which is good or commendable. As believers we are instructed to 1) examine yourself and repent. 2) share the gospel with unbelievers to repent (which is to acknowledge by judgment via scripture that humans are in sin in need of salvation and correction) 3) beware of false teachers also requiring judgment comparing said person against the Word of God. 4) clearly outlines we as believers are to: correct, rebuke, and encourage or exhort believers. Throughout Paul's letters, he had words of correction and rebuke for his readers, to the point of calling the Galatians "foolish" and saying they had been "bewitched" (Galatians 3:1). Was he being judgmental?
----->When speaking the Word causes offense it is Yah Himself someone is finding offensive.--- Matt 24:10-12->And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold----Yeshua "The spiritual person judges all things" (1 Corinthians 2:15) And Hebrews 5:14"But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish* good from evil." Yes, we are to use discernment to make judgments on the truthfulness, character, and integrity of others for our own safekeeping and in cases of correction and rebuke. IN CLOSING: To the unbeliever deliver the msg of the GOSPEL. To those who claim the body of Messiah: teaching, correction, rebuke, and exhortation are Biblically sound instructions and directions given by Yah. If any remain unsure the Word says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you"- James 4:7 Study to show yourself approved. 2 Tim. 2:15 We can and in some cases, should, reason with people: As was his custom, Paul went to the Jewish people; and for three Shabbatot, he debated the Scriptures with them. He opened them and gave evidence that Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead, saying, “This Yeshua, whom I declare to you, is the Messiah. Acts 17: 2-3 Refuse to be moved from the truth regardless of insults, persecutions, name calling, and fits of rage from those who find the truth of the Word offensive. After having stated the truth, reasoning/debating with them, leave them be and stand on the truth. Dust off your feet and continue on in shalom. And whoever will not receive you or listen to your words, as you leave that house or that town, shake the dust off your feet.MT 10:14 Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! Wow, what an exciting time! Our fellowship, family and, children have certainly enjoyed this time together. Above, are 3 links, to different ministries: Jacob's Tent & Triumph in Truth are for the adults. Trained up in Torah is for children. I do hope you will take time to watch! The Day of Blowing / Trumpets — points to when the Messiah will appear in the heavens as a Bridegroom coming for His bride, the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:52) We annually celebrate in faith and hope the 'practice announcement,' until He comes. It is a joyous occasion! In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest, a memorial of blowing (shofar), a holy convocation. You are to do no regular work, and you are to present an offering made by fire to Adonai. (Leviticus 23:24-25 TLV) By His will we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Messiah Yeshua once for all. Indeed, every kohen stands day by day serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. >>But on the other hand, when this One offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God<< Hebrews 10:10-12 TLV

May this time be a blessed celebration for you and your family! Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. They are just resources, curriculum, etc that have blessed our family and may bless yours!* Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah. Our family and church are ramping up to celebrate the Fall Feasts! The Lord/Adonai’s Feast Days are “Appointed Times” as well as rehearsals for future events. The Fall Feasts have been in part filled, but the final filling in the life and work of the Messiah is yet to come. Jesus/Yeshua fulfilled the first four Spring Feasts and did so on the feast days! Prophetic Fall Feasts will come to a Scriptural final filling: ► Day of Blowing / Trumpets — points to when the Messiah will appear in the heavens as a Bridegroom coming for His bride, the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:52) ► Yom Kippur / Atonement… This is acknowledged as a day of intercession, repentance/fasting. (LEV 16:29-34) This shall be an everlasting statute.... our Atonement was made in Yeshua Messiah, Amen! We can be filled with joy and reflection of who we are in Messiah. And the remnant both ethnic and grafted in believers of Israel still to be saved. ► Sukkot / Tabernacles — points to the Lord's promise that He will once again tabernacle/dwell with His people when He returns to reign over all the world from Jerusalem. (Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the KING, Adonai-Tzva'ot and to celebrate Sukkot. (Feast of Tabernacles) Zech 14:16 There is only 1 Israel/1 bride of Messiah created out of "2 olive trees" ethnic Israel and those GRAFTED into Israel who are now indeed part of Israel: see: But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Insofar as I am an emissary to the Gentiles, I spotlight my ministry if somehow I might provoke to jealousy my own flesh and blood and save some of them. For if their rejection leads to the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” True enough. They were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear— for if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you. Notice then the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell; but God’s kindness toward you, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off! And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of that which by nature is a wild olive tree, and grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree? Romans 11:13-24 Thus says Adonai: “Preserve justice, do righteousness. For My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. >Blessed is the one who does this, the son of man who takes hold of it, who keeps from profaning Shabbat, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.< Do not let a son of a foreigner who has joined himself to Adonai say, ‘Adonai will surely exclude me from His people.” Nor let the eunuch say, ‘Behold, I am a dry tree.’” For thus says Adonai, “To the eunuchs who keep My Shabbat, who choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant: I will give to them in My House and within My walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. > Also the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai, to minister to Him, and to love the Name of Adonai, and to be His servants-- all who keep from profaning Shabbat, and hold fast to My covenant—< these I will bring to My holy mountain, and let them rejoice in My House of Prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar. For My House will be called a House of Prayer for all nations.” Adonai Elohim, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, “I will gather still others to him, to those already gathered.” Isa 56:1-8 You are to divide this land for yourselves to the tribes of Israel. So you are to divide it by lot for an inheritance for you and for the outsiders who dwell among you, whoever bears children among you. They will be to you like the native-born of Bnei-Yisrael; they will be allotted an inheritance along with you among the tribes of Israel. In whatever tribe the outsider lives, there you will give him his inheritance.” It is a declaration of Adonai. Ezek 47:21-23 Then Bnei-Yisrael journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about 600,000 men on foot, as well as children. Also a mixed multitude went up with them, along with the flocks, herds and heavy livestock. Exodus 12:37-38.TLV We, as people, have been adopted into the family of Yah and have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. We are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens of Israel, within Israel-> GRAFTED IN > If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness- Rom 11:16-17 We walk according to the ways of Messiah. How He walked, what He observed. How He ate etc. How did He live? In perfect obedience to Torah, He was sinless (to sin = to break the law/torah) Yah's instructions for life. Yeshua, was/is the "word made flesh" JN 1:1-5
But that time you were separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. >>>>But now in Messiah Yeshua, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.<<< For He is our shalom, the One who made the two into one and broke down the middle wall of separation. Within His flesh He made powerless the hostility-- the law code of mitzvot contained in regulations. He did this in order to create within Himself one new man from the two groups, making shalom, and to reconcile both to God in one body through the cross—by which He put the hostility to death. And He came and proclaimed shalom to you who were far away and shalom to those who were near-- for through Him we both have access to the Father by the same Ruach. So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household. Ephesians 2:12-20 · ADDITIONAL RELATED POSTS:

Phil 4:13 Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah. Our family and church are ramping up to celebrate the Fall Feasts! The first fall feast, Yom Teruah, means, Day of Blowing (A.K.A The Feast of Trumpets.) Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets) is referring to the blowing of the shofar (ram’s horn), which is likened to the sound of God’s voice calling to His people. How desperately His people need to heed His voice at this hour.... and sound the alarm: Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble-- for the day of Adonai is coming-- surely it is near!(Joel 2:1) The Feast of Trumpets / Yom Teruah is coming up - It is a time of making joyful noise unto Adonai! Sing for joy to God our strength, shout to the God of Jacob! Lift up a song and sound a tambourine, a sweet lyre with a harp. Blow the shofar at the New Moon. Psalm 81:1-4 TLV The feast of Yom Teruah is also known as the “Day of the Last Trump”: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this corruptible will have put on incorruptibility and this mortal will have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 1 Cor 15:52-55 TLV For the Lord Himself shall come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the blast of God’s shofar, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. 1 Thess 4: 16 TLV The Shofar was/is used to intimidate the enemy, to declare war, and to call people to assembly, the shofar is one of the oldest wind instruments in the world.' The army of Israel marched around Jericho to the signal of the shofar (Josh. 6). Today lets look here: Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the land will mourn, and they will see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send out His angels with a great shofar, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matt 24:30-31 When that shofar sounds for many it will be an exciting time of celebration to meet the KING. For others/unbelievers it will be a signal of dread. But the shofar on the Feast of Trumpets is a celebratory time "to practice" the arrival of the KING. To annually celebrate in faith and hope the announcement until He comes. It is a joyous occasion! After the Spring Feasts of Passover, First Fruits, and Shavuot, The Feast of Trumpets marks the beginning of the 3 Fall Feasts. Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) The Spring Feasts significance has already been fulfilled both in the First (Old) Testament and prophetically in Yeshua (Jesus). The Fall Feasts WILL BE FULFILLED when Yeshua (Jesus) returns. HalleluYah!! RESOURCES:

Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. They are just resources, curriculum, etc that have blessed our family and may bless yours!* Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah. Peace is something we experience in our own hearts, not something dependent on our circumstances or achieved by others’ choices/actions or inactions toward us. When you understand that concept, you can embrace peace regardless of your circumstances, and experience stillness. It’s in the stillness and rest of His presence when we get to know who Yah really is and understand His instruction thousands of years ago to “Be still, and know that I am God” PS 46:10 My soul, wait in stillness, only for God-- from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress—I will never be moved.- PS 62:2-3 Regardless of the turmoil in the world, the chaos around you, the choices and decisions of others coming and going. Nothing can steal your peace outside of you giving it away or forfeiting it. Be still, wait in stillness.... He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. Refuse to be moved. AMEN! In Mark 4:35-41 we read that one evening Yeshua said to His disciples, Let us cross over to the other side," of the lake.... So, they left the crowd in a few boats: A great windstorm arises, and the waves were rushing into the boat. The boat was beginning to fill up. But Yeshua was in the back of the boat, sleeping on a pillow. They wake Him up and say to Him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are perishing?” So He woke up and rebuked the wind. And He said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, and it became totally calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Even now you have no faith?” Mark 4:37-39 The disciples panicked as we all do from time to time. But, remember Whom you serve. Even the wind and waves obey Him. There is nothing you will face near or far that He is unaware of. He is not caught off guard. Do not be anxious about anything—but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua Phil 4:6-7 Pray and tell Yah what you need, and thank him for all He has done. Let the shalom of Messiah rule in your hearts—to this shalom you were surely called in one body. Also be thankful. Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Well here we are.... I am pulling this post from life. I don't know about you but I am very busy as we have previously discussed; between: working FT, homeschooling, medical coding online classes, being a wife/mom, and ministry helper alongside my husband...... I am far from the only one whose life is regulated by: color coded calendars, reminder alerts, lesson plans, and schedules I am sure. So this may very well be an applicable lesson topic to many others. However, Yah, brought these verses to my attention recently as He has also been teaching me about setting boundaries in my own life, and managing anxiety. One pattern we see consistently is that Yeshua often "went away" by Himself to pray or just to be alone. In Matthew 14 here we see He even, "sent the crowds away." > After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the hillside by Himself to pray. And when evening came, He was there alone- MT 14:23 TLV > Very early, while it was still night, Yeshua got up, left, and went away to a place in the wilderness; and there He was praying.- MK 1:35 TLV > But the news about Yeshua was spreading all the more, and many crowds were coming together to hear and to be healed of their diseases. Yet He would often slip away into the wilderness and pray. - LK 5:15-16 TLV > After Yeshua left there, He went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountainside and was sitting there.- MT 15:29 TLV > But after His brothers went to the Feast, He also went, not openly but secretly.- JN 7:10
Many people miss or skim over the importance in these verses. Yeshua regularly MADE time to: slip away, leave, travel alone etc and have time in solitude. Every pastor/overseer, caregiver, volunteer, and disciple of Yeshua needs to learn from His example and walk as closely to it as possible in every area of life. Yeshua continually withdrew from people. He even, "sent the crowds away," (MT 14:23 TLV)- He withdrew from daily life activities, and the demands of his ministry service to be alone with Abba Yah and pray. This priority of Yeshua's: solitude, withdrawal, and silence is visible in the gospels. Yet, if you are like me it is difficult to say -no - to people even at the expense of your personal time, or mental well being. It is difficult to not answer the phone, or to not respond immediately when I see a text and know someone has a need so on and so forth, primarily due to anxiety. But it is simply draining. It is another thing to lay down before Him. It is not fair to my husband, and children or even myself. I need: balance, boundaries, and to recognize I can only do what I can do. Continuously over-stretching myself to meet the needs of others is not sustainable, or healthy. Yah has been working with me on this point for a little over a month or so. My anxieties in light of that have become much more manageable and some days I am not anxious AT ALL! HALLELUYAH! Yeshua invites us to join Him in solitude so we, too, can know Abba Yah in an intimate and personal way with: set apart, unhurried time to relax in His presence, read His Word, pray and rest. Shabbat is wonderful for this! But Yeshua, was found often outside of Shabbat, doing this as well.
We live in a very fast paced society aimed at keeping us moving and busy. We rest on Shabbat as we should. But let us also remember; to go away to quiet places of solitude---and sit with the Master, His Word, rest, pray, and withdraw. Setting up, appropriate: boundaries and times for serving the needs of others is OK, important, and even needed. Likewise learning the value of solitude and rest is also NEEDED. Slowing down has allowed me to rest in the small opportunities I have daily. In this way I can really spend time with, and focus attention, on my husband for the short time I do see him before he heads off to work, and our children, in a more intentional and unhurried fashion. How beautiful....
