Throwing this back out as a reminder to the saved, the Ambassadors of Messiah: The Ruach (Holy Spirit) Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, also heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Messiah—if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. For I consider the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed to us.
~~Rom 8:15-17 TLV Sometimes I wonder if people really let the words sink in- or if they just read them so fast it goes right by the brain and out the trap door.... Let us examine: *Messiah is THE king->we are 'heirs of God and joint heirs with Messiah' ->therefore in effect as a follower of Messiah you are royalty and an heir to the kingdom of God! You are not here to blend in and go with the flow. **You are here for a divine message, as a divine ambassador for a kingdom purpose.*** Take a minute & let that soak in... The message: the Gospel. God's free gift of salvation to all who call upon Him and receive Yeshua as Savior. You are here as a lighthouse to shine in the darkness, to love on hurting and broken people...to share the Good News of salvation, to guard the covenant..and to pray, and intercede for them and be that one who breaks with the current and shows them the way. **
Walk in the light as He is in the light-shining forth His glory and speak His Word over your life and those around you. KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN MESSIAH- TALK IT, WALK IT . - AMEN ‘Adonai bless you and keep you! Adonai make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you! Adonai turn His face toward you and grant you shalom!’ Numbers 6: 24-26 TLV HalleluYah! love y'all!

As believers in Messiah we are here on ASSIGNMENT as AMBASSADORS of a kingdom and on behalf of the KING : We are therefore {ambassadors} for Messiah, as though God were making His appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to God. II Corinthians 5:20 TLV This world is not our home, this culture is not our culture. The kingdoms of this earth are not our kingdoms.... If you are entangled with the politics and back and forth of this earthly kingdom. LIFT YOUR EYES . Preach the GOSPEL, REPENT AND BELIEVE. Without that sin will reign in the hearts of men. I serve only One. My allegiance is to only 1. I will bow only to 1. The GREAT I AM (YHWH) See: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.Once you were “not a people,” but now you are “God’s people.” You were shown “no mercy,” but now you have been shown “mercy.” I Peter 2:9-12 TLV Yeshua wasn't concerned about comfort for the sinner He spoke the TRUTH : "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. JN 15:22 TLV What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”2 Cor 6:16-18 TLV Remember whom you are and to Whom you belong. You are an AMBASSADOR, a representative for the KING and kingdom. #Riseup #ambassadorforMessiah #KingdomCulture #Kingdomovereverything #allegiancetoOne IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD
ANSWER: ** No, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, so that each one may receive what is due for the things he did while in the body--whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10 TLV Yet we know that a person is set right not by deeds based on Torah, but rather through putting trust in Messiah Yeshua. So even we have put our trust in Messiah Yeshua, in order that we might be set right based on trust in Messiah and not by deeds based on Torah--because no human will be justified by deeds based on Torah. But if, while seeking to be justified in Messiah, we ourselves also were found to be sinners, is Messiah then an agent of sin? May it never be! Gal 2:16-17 TLV >>We do not obey God to earn salvation---salvation was purchased by Yeshua once and for all to those who believe... but the FRUIT of that belief produces "works" it produces FRUIT of obedience. WHY? Because we LOVE HIM. It is a joy to serve Him!<< SEE: You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes aren’t gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree produces good fruit, but the rotten tree produces bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.- Yeshua- Matt 7:16-20 AND: What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works? Can such faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in shalom, keep warm and well fed,” but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is that? So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works. You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder! James 2:14-19 TLV 3)What is the benefit of keeping the feasts in your relationship with Jesus? ANSWER: Pleasing Adonai (the LORD)! **If you love Me, you will keep My commandments- Yeshua (JN 14:15) TLV LOVE=OBEDIENCE Whoever has my COMMANDS and KEEPS THEM is the one who loves me, and the one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” (Jhn) 14:21 CJB These are the appointed feasts of Adonai, holy convocations which you are to proclaim in their appointed season. Lev 23:4 4) Are you a Jew? ANSWER: ** No, I (we, as in our family & our church) are followers of Messiah Yeshua.- not of Jewish descent. --whoever claims to abide in Him must walk just as He walked. 1 JN 2:6 TLV Per scripture gentiles are grafted into Israel and no longer considered "gentile" - >>The same Torah applies to the native as well as the outsider who dwells among you. EX 12:49 TLV << (we are grafted into Israel and the same Torah applies to both native, and grafted in believer) Who is Israel? There is only 1 bride of Messiah, the church, which is composed of both native Israel believers and those grafted INTO Israel. Per Scripture there is 1 Torah/law for both the native and the "outsider" or grafted in believers. See Romans 11 below: Grafted into Israel: If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” True enough. They were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear— Romans 11: 16-20 TLV And He came and proclaimed shalom to you who were far away and shalom to those who were near— for through Him we both have access to the Father by the same Ruach. So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household. You have been built on the foundation made up of the emissaries and prophets, with Messiah Yeshua Himself being the cornerstone. Ephes. 2:18-20 5) Jesus died, then why haven’t we died on a cross? (as followers) OR Why don't you still make sacrifices then? ANSWER: **The Torah has a shadow of the good things to come—not the form itself of the realities. For this reason it can never, by means of the same sacrifices they offer constantly year after year, make perfect those who draw near. Heb. 10:1 TLV ** this One (Yeshua) offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God— waiting from then on, until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected forever those being made holy. The Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) also testifies to us—for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will cut with them: ‘After those days,’ says Adonai, >> ‘I will put My Torah upon their hearts, and upon their minds I will write it,’”<< then He says, >>“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”<< Now where there is removal of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. Heb 10:12-18 6) How do you know what not to keep and what to keep? ANSWER: Ezekiel 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, My master, my master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; >>but he that DOES the will of my Father which is in heaven.<< * He gives us His Spirit to do what? Cause you to walk in >>My statues, and keep My judgements, and DO THEM<< Who does Yeshua reject? Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you >>workers of lawlessness!<<- Matt 7: 23 Messiah >liberated us from Torah’s curse, having become a curse for us< (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)— in order that through Messiah Yeshua the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so we might receive the promise of the Ruach (Holy Spirit) through trusting faith. Galatians 3:13-14 TLV He liberated us from the CURSE, not the law, to which He commands us to obey. But when we sin incidentally, because of Yeshua we are forgiven, upon repentance. Make every effort to present yourself before God as tried and true, as an unashamed worker cutting a straight path with the word of truth. 2 Tim 2:15 TLV If you love Me, you will keep My commandments- Yeshua (JN 14:15) TLV LOVE=OBEDIENCE We love God, we love others by following the instructions given to us in the Word. Salvation involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God/Yahweh. We obey Yahweh by keeping His Commandments, not to be saved, but because we are saved.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Torah of Adonai. 2 >Happy are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with a whole heart, 3 who also do no injustice, but walk in His ways. 4 You have commanded that Your precepts be kept diligently.< 5 Oh that my ways were steadfast to observe Your decrees! 6 Then I would not be ashamed, when I consider all Your mitzvot (commandments.) 7 I will praise You with an upright heart as I learn Your righteous judgments. 8 I will observe Your statutes. Psalm 119:1-8 Blessings and Shalom in the Name of Yeshua Messiah!
OR in NKJV "Whoever commits sin, commits lawlessness for sin is lawlessness" What is the law? Torah. When we sin we are breaking the law. Yeshua says "If you love me obey me" the expectation of obedience is there. When we fail and commit lawlessness (sin) the fulfillment of the law in Yeshua redeems His own from the curse.
This gets deep y'all. You ready?! How do we love Yah? If you love Me, you will keep My commandments- Yeshua (JN 14:15) TLV LOVE=OBEDIENCE For more information on our FREEDOM FROM THE CURSE, not the Torah click here: Redeemed from the curse....not the law (pursuingtheupwardcall.com) ‐---------‐------------------------------------------------------------- Romans 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before YHWH, but the doers of the law shall be justified. .. Speaking of new covenant- Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Matt 7: :21 Not every one that saith unto me, My master, my master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, My master, my master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, >>ye that work lawlessness......<< . To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Amĕn. .......... Romans 7:12 So that the Torah truly is set-apart, and the command set-apart, and righteous, and good. Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might become an exceedingly great sinner. For we know that the Torah is Spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. Romans 7:12-14 What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. 18 I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”[ 2 Cor 6: 16-18] TLV
> > What is holy? The Hebrew word translated “holy” comes from QODESH meaning “separate, set apart" Thus, what is holy is separated from common use, or held sacred, especially by virtue of its being clean and pure. God is holy to the supreme degree and we are to imitate Him. He chose us in the Messiah before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love. 5 He predestined us for adoption as sons through Messiah Yeshua, in keeping with the good pleasure of His will— 6 to the glorious praise of His grace, with which He favored us through the One He loves! Ephesians 1:4-6 TLV AMEN, HALLELUYAH!!!
Grafted into Israel: If the firstfruit is holy, so is the whole batch of dough; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 But if some of the branches were broken off and you—being a wild olive--were grafted in among them and became a partaker of the root of the olive tree with its richness, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 True enough. They were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear— Romans 11: 16-20 TLV Yeshua (Jesus) said: If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. - JN 14:15
So you see.... we are called to be: holy, set apart, separate and to keep His commandments. I am sorry that the church has been deceived and taught largely that the Law/Torah has been abolished. As seen above that simply is not the case. We are not saved by works, nor are we saved by keeping the Torah or Law.... because you will fail and you will sin (break the law, trasgress the law/Torah) We aim to keep the commandments for the very reason Yeshua told us to:
OUR INABILITY OF PERFECTION IS WHY : The Messiah REEDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE pronounced in the Torah (law) by becoming cursed on our behalf; for the Tanakh says, “Everyone who hangs from a stake comes under a curse.” Galatians 3:13 CJB In Him is our redemption, our salvation, everything we need to walk in holiness and set apartness He provided in the New Covenant prophesied in Ezekiel.
Praise YHWH for redeeming us from the curse of the Torah and giving us the Spirit within us and "causing you to walk in My statues and keep My judgments, and DO THEM" AMEN! THAT IS PRAISEWORTHY!!! HALLELUYAH. I hope this blog post has opened some eyes that are willing to see and ears that are willing to hear. Yah is moving in these last days to create unity among believers and call us out from among the "nations" He is preparing His bride. 13 For this reason I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear nor do they understand. 14 “And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘You will keep on hearing but will never understand; you will keep looking, but will never see. 15 For the heart of this people has become dull, their ears can barely hear, and they have shut their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts. Then they would turn back, and I would heal them.’ 16 “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 Amen, I tell you, many a prophet and tzaddik longed to see what you are seeing and did not see, and to hear what you are hearing and did not hear.”- MT 13:13-17 TLV Shalom and be blessed in Messiah Yeshua! Question from a reader: If you celebrate the feasts, why don’t you do the sacrifices? They go hand in hand for the same people group. ANSWER: Great question! As with the Feasts the sacrifices and offerings of the 1st Testament were a foreshadow of Yeshua our Messiah to come. When John the Baptist stepped forward in John 1:29 and introduced Yeshua/Jesus as the Lamb of God he did so as the final Old Testament prophet, the son of a priest, and as the chosen forerunner of Messiah. He identified Yeshua/ Jesus as the Passover Lamb of God, the final sacrifice for transgression of the Torah or law as shown in 1 JN 3:4 Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah — indeed, sin is violation of Torah. Children, don’t let anyone deceive you — it is the person that keeps on doing what is right who is righteous, just as God is righteous. (1 Jo) 3:4, 7 CJB other translations state it as: Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness—indeed, sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4 TLV YHWH provided Yeshua as the final sacrifice. In conclusion sacrifices are no longer needed because of this. The next day, John sees Yeshua (Jesus) coming to him and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! JN 1:29 TLV (our offering has been made by YHWH Himself) But to have "lawlessness" you 1st have to have a law to break. Yeshua Himself confirms this in saying: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. John 14:15 TLV and: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif[b] shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass. 19 Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. MT 5: 17-19 TLV Instead of abolishing the Torah/Law He fulfilled it. The Greek word for "fulfill" is {Pleroo} which means to : make full, fill up, or accomplish. The Greek word for : abolish or destroy is {Katalyo} which is to dissolve, demolish, or deprive of force. Yeshua is sinless He is not 'lawless' SIN=LAWLESSNESS For I delight in the Torah of God with respect to the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in my body parts, battling against the law of my mind and bringing me into bondage under the law of sin which is in my body parts. 24 Miserable man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God—it is through Messiah Yeshua our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself serve the Torah of God; but with my flesh, I serve the law of sin. Rom 7: 22-25 TLV Furthermore as believers in Messiah aren't we to walk as He walked and do as He did?? Passover: Now on the first day of matzah, the disciples came to Yeshua, saying, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and tell him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near; at your house I am to keep the Passover with My disciples.”’” The disciples did as Yeshua had ordered them, and they prepared the Passover. Matthew 26:17-19 TLV Yeshua is our Great High Priest: For we do not have a kohen gadol [high priest]who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all the same ways—yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 TLV Through Yeshua we are rescued from THE CURSE OF THE LAW. Not the Law itself. See:
Yeshua kept Passover, He kept Tabernacles & He kept the Feasts. He is sinless before God, He is YHWH in the flesh---The Word made flesh---and it is commanded, in the Word, to keep them. These are the FEASTS OF ADONAI Lev 23:37
Do not be arrogant, but fear— Romans 11: 16-20 TLV After these things Yeshua(Jesus) walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. Now the Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. John 7:1-2 Therefore Yeshua (Jesus) said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always at hand. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify that its works are evil. 8 You go on up to the Feast. I’m not going to this feast, because My time hasn’t yet fully come.” 9 After saying these things, He stayed in the Galilee. 10 But after His brothers went to the Feast, He also went, not openly but secretly. 11 Then the Judean leaders were searching for Him at the Feast and kept asking, “Where is that fellow?” 12 There was a lot of murmuring about Him in the crowds. Some were saying, “He is good.” But others were saying, “Not so! He leads the people astray.” 13 Yet no one spoke openly about Him for fear of the Judean leaders. 14 About halfway through the Feast, Yeshua (Jesus)went up to the Temple and began teaching. JN 7: 6-14 TLV We see the Feasts continuing to be kept in Acts....So Paul still remained a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow. And he came to Ephesus, and left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, but took leave of them, saying, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus. Acts 18:18-21 And on the future: Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, (The Lord of Hosts) and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. Zech 14: 16-17 TLV (the Feast will be kept in the future with a punishment of "no rain" for those nations which refuse) In summary we keep the Feasts bc God commanded it as: These are the moadim of Adonai (<-the feasts of the Lord) which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations..Lev 23:37 Yeshua kept them. They will be kept in the future as commanded by God in Zechariah and they hold a wealth of knowledge and information about the Messiah of prophesy fulfilled and to be fulfilled. Furthermore the introduction of Sunday church, Christmas and Easter traditions are just that. Traditions. Not found in the Bible, not commanded by God and brought about by Constantine and the Catholic church. Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc. Christmas, the holiday commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, is celebrated by a majority of Christians on December 25 in the Gregorian calendar. *But early Christians did not celebrate his birth* and no one knows on which date Jesus was actually born. The origins of the holiday and its December date lie in the ancient Greco-Roman world, as commemorations probably began sometime in the 2nd century. There are at least three possible origins for the December date. The Roman Christian historian Sextus Julius Africanus dated Jesus’ conception to March 25 (the same date upon which he held that the world was created), which, after nine months in his mother’s womb, would result in a December 25 birth. In the 3rd century, the Roman Empire, which at the time had not adopted Christianity, celebrated the rebirth of the Unconquered Sun (Sol Invictus) on December 25th. This holiday not only marked the return of longer days after the winter solstice but also followed the popular Roman festival called the Saturnalia (during which people feasted and exchanged gifts). It was also the birthday of the Indo-European deity Mithra, a god of light and loyalty whose cult was at the time growing popular among Roman soldiers. The church in Rome began formally celebrating Christmas on December 25 in 336, during the reign of the emperor Constantine. As Constantine had made Christianity the effective religion of the empire, some have speculated that choosing this date had the political motive of weakening the established pagan celebrations. The date was not widely accepted in the Eastern Empire, where January 6 had been favored, for another half-century, and Christmas did not become a major Christian festival until the 9th century. It was Emperor Constantine who decreed that Christians should no longer keep the Sabbath and keep only to Sunday (the latter part of the first day of the week) calling it the "Venerable Day of the Sun". (Idolatry worship)-source Britannica Encyclopedia When Constantine pressed his pagan hordes into the church they were observing the day of the sun for their adoration of the sun god. It was their special holy day. In order to make it more convenient for them to make the change to the new religion, Constantine accepted their day of worship, Sunday, instead of the Sabbath which had been observed by Yeshua/ Jesus and His disciples. So there is a real and present danger in keeping these "traditions of man." But there is no danger in observing the appointed times of Adonai that we are commanded to keep as a statute throughout all generations. Hear the word that Adonai speaks to you, house of Israel, 2 Thus says Adonai: “Do not learn the way of the nations or be frightened by signs of the heavens-- though the nations are terrified by them. 3 The customs of the peoples are useless: it is just a tree cut from the forest, the work of the hands of a craftsman with a chisel. 4 They decorate it with silver and gold, and fasten it with hammer and nails so it won’t totter.--- Jer 10:1:4 TLV What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. 18 I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.” 2 Cor 6:16-18 TLV Our family, led by my husband, is not under the authority of man made traditions any longer from Constantine, or the Catholic "church" but observe the very Word of YHWH and footsteps of Messiah to the best of our ability and knowledge. What He commanded and what Yeshua/Jesus kept and observed on the earth. He kept the Feasts and Shabbat as Holy and blameless. So quite simply we (our family and fellowship) follow the Master, and our Lord, and have been set free from the traditions and lies of men and the bondage that comes with it. Why wouldn't we want to celebrate with our Messiah as He did and walk as He walked by following His example? Hope that helps sister! HalleluYah! Until next time: May Adonai bless and keep you as you: press on pursuing the goal for the reward of the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua. Phil 4:13 Sukkot / Tabernacles — points to the Lord's promise that He will once again tabernacle/dwell with His people when He returns to reign over all the world from Jerusalem. (Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the KING, Adonai-Tzva'ot and to celebrate Sukkot. (Feast of Tabernacles) Zech 14:16 AMEN!
The ultimate fulfillment of this feast is found when Yeshua “tabernacles” when He rules and reigns on earth from Jerusalem. It will be a time of rest, joy and fellowship with Him. The Scriptures teach in the coming Kingdom, that ALL the nations of the world will come to Jerusalem to celebrate Sukkot — in fact, we will be required to celebrate! (Zechariah 14:16). Sukkot is "Our Season of Joy”. It's the only feast in which we are commanded to be "joyful" (Deuteronomy 16:13-15). The expectation of joy at this time is affirmed with the angels’ declaration to the shepherds announcing Yeshua's birth, "I bring you good news of great joy". It's a wonderful thought that the Father planned a weeklong party for the birth of His Son! King Herod’s census most likely took place over a year in Jerusalem. Hanukkah falls in winter while not a required pilgrimage feast, where men were required to attend. There would be “no room in the inn” during a required feast, not during Hanukkah. Bethlehem is only five miles from Jerusalem. Because of the yearly cycle of service in the Temple we can calculate the time of the Messiah’s birth to the Fall Feasts. http://www.kolsimcha.org/messages/2010/092510M.pdf The last day of Sukkot is an additional festival day, called “The Eighth Day” (Leviticus 23:36, 39). If Yeshua was born on the first day of the feast of Tabernacles, then He would have been circumcised on the day called the “Eighth Day,” thereby literally fulfilling the scripture which says, “On the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised” (Leviticus 12:3). The Festival of Dedication/Hanukkah, is also known as the Festival of Lights, because it was a triumph of light over darkness. This would have been the time the Angel Gabriel made his announcement to Mary. Hanukkah is a meaningful celebration, based on historical fact. Yeshua said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12) and was present in the temple during The Festival of Dedication Then came Hanukkah; it was winter in Jerusalem. Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade. JN 10:22-23 TLV Welcome back friends, readers, and new faces! I hope you have had a blessed week! I am still recovering from a cold...but I am excited as The Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot is coming up starting on Monday 9/20-9/27. It is the last of the Fall Feasts and a joyous occasion. So I wanted to take some time to explain. Let's dive in!
These are the moadim of Adonai (<-the feasts of the Lord) which you are to proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to Adonai—a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day, 38 besides those of the Shabbatot of Adonai and besides your gifts, all your vows and all your freewill offerings which you give to Adonai. 39 “So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you are to keep the Feast of Adonai for seven days. The first day is to be a Shabbat rest, and the eighth day will also be a Shabbat rest. 40 On the first day you are to take choice fruit of trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and rejoice before Adonai your God for seven days. 41 You are to celebrate it as a festival to Adonai for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations. Leviticus 23:37-41 TLV
JN 7: 6-14 TLV So Paul still remained a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow. And he came to Ephesus, and left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, but took leave of them, saying, >>“I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.<< Acts 18:18-21 Then all the survivors from all the nations that attacked Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, (The Lord of Hosts) and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 Furthermore, if any of the nations on earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, they will have no rain. Zech 14: 16-17 TLV (the Feast will be kept in the future with a punishment of "no rain" for those nations which refuse) Anyone new to the Feast of Tabernacles, also known as Sukkot. Here is a simple explanation of it; It's a rehearsal for a future event where Yeshua will Tabernacle with us again, which simply means be with us.
The tent idea is a reminder we are in temporary dwelling places until we get to be with Yah permanently in the New Jerusalem, that will come down to earth. It also symbolizes the time when the Israelites were able to escape their slavery from the Egyptians and had to live in tents for 40 years. Its also a metaphor of how we escape and come out of the things of this World! Coming out of the traditions and the ways of man and religion. We hence Cross Over or Pass Over from the things of this World into the things and Ways of YHWH! This is where the word Hebrew comes from, one who has passed or crossed over! Enjoy your Tabernacle Time with Yah. He is our Banner, Covering, and Shelter. May He Overshadow us with His Glory and Presence during this set-apart Time. Be with us Always Yah in Spirit, until we are one with You permanently. Oh how we await this with great joy and anticipation. A quick google search can give you all kinds of ideas for how to decorate your own Sukkah or purchase one. The intent and motives of the heart are known by Yah and may He be with you. HalleluYah!! Have a blessed celebration rehearsal for the wedding feast to come. Do Bible things in Bible ways.... Follow the footsteps of the Master and KING. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of Hosts, who was and who is and who is to come!” Rev 4:8 TLV YOM KIPPUR / יום כפור
Technically starting: sunset Wednesday & coming to a close on sunset Thursday Yom Kippur is also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. It's traditionally observed with a period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in services. Yom Kippur is the memorial of the cost of humanity’s redemption. Jesus/Yeshua, as our High Priest, secures our atonement through His death, resurrection, and ascension, giving us the opportunity for forgiveness, relationship, and obedience to be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. He lives and intercedes for us forever! This is acknowledged as a day of intercession, repentance/fasting. (LEV 16:29-34) This shall be an everlasting statute.... our Atonement was made in Yeshua Messiah, Amen! We can be filled with joy and reflection of who we are in Messiah. And the remnant both ethnic and grafted in believers of Israel still to be saved. Therefore, since we have a great Kohen Gadol (High Priest) who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua Ben-Elohim, let us hold firmly to our confessed allegiance. For we do not have a kohen gadol (High Priest) who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all the same ways—yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near to the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 TLV Have a blessed observance! This week has been a tough one on the emotional scale.......as the federal government betrays us....along with the stresses many have endured over the past 18 months or so... But after some venting I am reminded of God's verse He gave me for this yr. Remember whom we serve. Adonai—He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 TLV He is not shaken. He is seated on THE throne. He is faithful His Word still stands. He said what He said and so shall it be. He knew and knows everything that was and is coming this yr and He gave me that verse in full view of His knowledge. Be still and know that I am God. Ps 46:10 (doesn't mean that we don't respond...but our response is in the full reassurance that we serve the King of kings and LORD of Lord's who is not shaken by the rulers of this world and what they do or do not do.) ---focusing on Yeshua, the initiator and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame; and He has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 TLV Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God—there is no other. By Myself I have sworn— the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness, and is irrevocable: that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear. They will say of Me, ‘Only in Adonai is righteousness and strength.’ All who have raged against Him will come to Him and be put to shame. In Adonai all the seed of Israel will be justified and give praise.” Isaiah 45:22-25 TLV 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you are able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm then! Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. 15 Strap up your feet in readiness with the Good News of shalom. 16 Above all, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation[h] and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Ruach on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, keep alert with perseverance and supplication for all the kedoshim. Ephes 6:10-18 Click here for an encouraging message and video through Psalms: (8) THEY WANT US TO MOVE IN FEAR, BUT BECAUSE OF WHO I SERVE I WILL LIVE IN PRAISE...WILL YOU JOIN ME? - YouTube Next we are approaching The Day of Atonement. After the Spring Feasts of Passover, First Fruits, and Shavuot, The Fall Feasts come into view: The Feast of Trumpets marks the beginning of the 3 Fall Feasts. Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) The Spring Feasts significance has already been fulfilled both in the First (Old) Testament and prophetically in Yeshua (Jesus). The Fall Feasts WILL BE FULFILLED when Yeshua (Jesus) returns. NEXT on the calendar: comes The Day of Atonement sundown of 9/15 to sundown 9/16 “Teshuvah” is the word for repent In salvation this change involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God/Yahweh. We obey Yahweh by keeping His Commandments, not to be saved, but because we are saved.
The Day of Atonment is a Holy (a set apart) Day for the whole corporate Body of Messiah to Teshuvah/Repent: lament, mourn, weep, fast and humble ourselves under the mighty hand of Yah (God) that He may lift us up. "Or do you think that in vain the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit which He made to dwell in us”? But He gives greater grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded! Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of Adonai, and He shall lift you up." James 4:6-10 TLV So get rid of all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all lashon ha-ra. As newborn babes, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow toward salvation now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to Him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house—a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Messiah Yeshua. For it says in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen, precious cornerstone. Whoever trusts in Him will never be put to shame.” Now the value is for you who keep trusting; but for those who do not trust, “The stone which the builders rejected-- this One has become the chief cornerstone,” and “a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” 1 Pet 2:1-8 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were “not a people,” but now you are “God’s people.” You were shown “no mercy,” but now you have been shown “mercy.” Loved ones, I urge you as strangers and sojourners to keep away from the fleshly cravings that war against the soul. 1 Pet 2:9-11 During this Day of Atonment sundown 9/15 through 9/16 let us Teshuvah/repent before Adonai in sincerity with fasting (for those who are able) and prayer. RETURNING to our 1st love and coming OUT of the traditions of men to be the SET APART PEOPLE OF YAH. We are strangers/sojourners in this world but NOT OF THIS WORLD. Too many brethren have become comfortable here. This world is not our home and we are to be a light on the hill, for those in darkness light hurts the eyes... For those wounded by sin and drowning in depravity salt that cleanses stings.... For those wrapped up in the traditions of men, coming out to be separated may cause discomfort/sadness or as intended separation from all that we know and disapproval from those that we love. Yet still we are called and given instructions: Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. 2 Cor 6:17 TLV But no matter how you look at it... from our actions and words...to lifestyle and dress...to honoring and remembering Shabbat to walking in the Holy Days (Moedim) set apart by Yah (God) We will not fit in, and we are not supposed to. Now is the day, this is the time. Arise oh, sleeper and teshuvah/return to Him. Click Link: Austin French - Wake Up Sleeper (Official Lyric Video) - YouTube |
