Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! Shabbat Shalom for this evening! So with the Fall Feasts being completed for 2022. Our "Fall Feasts" book from Bible Pathway Adventures will be put away until 2023. In lieu of that, I ordered these: Weekly Torah portion activity books for our kids' Shabbat school lessons. We will complete the Torah portion appropriate for the date on the calendar along with a reading from the prophets and New (2nd) Testament. side note: Following Torah portions is not a Biblical requirement. But studying the Word is. For now, this is one way, we are going to do that with the children. As well as, various other methods of study we use with them. *This schedule can be seen in picture #2* I pray you rest in shalom on this Shabbat and these resources are a blessing to you and your family as well! Hello friends and scattered family in Messiah! This craft was from last week's Shabbat school lesson 11/12/22 with the lesson from Trained up in Torah: (1) The Burning Bush- Exodus 3&4 Sabbath School Lesson - YouTube *We have a Shabbat Bible lesson and craft every week for the children* I did not have the materials on hand to complete the craft they have at the end so we made our own! For support behind the construction paper we used a paperplate as the back. Pasted the "bush base" as black construction paper and then various clips of: red, yellow, and orange for the flames. Very simple craft but the kiddos had lots of fun in the making of it! We use Trained up in Torah for Shabbat lessons for the kids OR crafts/activities from Bible Pathway Adventures: Shop for Ages 6-12 – Bible Pathway Adventures YOU CAN NOW CONNECT WITH US ON OUR FACEBOOK HERE! : Pursuing the upward call | Facebook This is a public "personal blog" pg via Facebook to make it easier for readers to connect and share. As you know we have Shabbat School every Saturday around lunch time with our kids where they get a Bible lesson. Bible Pathway Adventures is one of our favorite resources! We are just finishing the "Shabbat" book and getting ready to start this one on the SPRING FEASTS! Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits are all coming up next month and shortly we will get the house in order.....cleaning out all leavened products and decorating for Passover!
If you want a simple way to explain these amazing Feast Days to your children that are so full of our: History, prophecy, and symbolism of Yeshua I strongly encourage you to look for yourself at investing into these books. Let us keep the feast! Therefore let us celebrate the feast not with old hametz, the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread—the matzah of sincerity and truth. 1 Cor 5:8 TLV LINK: Shop for Ages 6-12 – Bible Pathway Adventures Until next time, Blessings and Shalom as you continue to "pursue the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua"-Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. This is a simple post to cover our "Shabbat School" Lesson last week.
Many of you know that we have a house church you can read more about that here: Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 "House Fellowship...let's talk about it!" I say that to say, we do not have a traditional kids class or what may traditionally be known as "Sunday school" Why? 1) We keep Shabbat and guard commandment #4- so Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is our day of rest and worship (ie: Shabbat) 2) All children are involved in our regular service for various reasons So on Shabbat morning after a bit of free time around lunch the kids come get together and we have, "Shabbat School" with a lesson.
Until next time, Blessings and Shalom as you continue to "pursue the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua"-Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use.
