Well hi scattered fam and friends!!
It's been a few weeks. Life got real busy, real quick as I started a new job and had to be on site for training. The kids got to enjoy their spring break for 2 weeks and now we are springing forward into the last quarter of the school yr....and quickly approaching Passover! WOW.....My schooling has been on hold too as quite frankly I have been too exhausted to study but I will pick it up again here shortly. As for the pictures above...what are we looking at here? Well the 1st picture is the 1st signs of life from the red potatoes we planted! We are so thrilled they are beginning to sprout and push through the soil. We are planting a "bucket garden" this yr and as we get further into the growing season I will continue to share updates. For now we just have 2 pots of potatoes in "grow bags." The 2nd picture are the new monitors my employer supplied. We are still in the process of getting it set up, but man, they are huge! Upcoming this weekend (on Friday eve) our house church: The Narrow Way Torah Observant Fellowship will be hosting a viewing of The Prince of Egypt for the kiddos in preparation for Passover in a few weeks! TRAILER: The Prince of Egypt (1998) Trailer #1 | Movieclips Classic Trailers - YouTube We have been busy and Abba Yah has been so good to us and provided a means and way for me to work from home and continue to homeschool our children in "The Narrow Way," following Yeshua, and, observing Shema "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These words, which I am commanding you today, are to be on your heart. You are to teach them diligently to your children, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up." Deut. 6:4-8 I hope you all are prepping and preparing for your Passover celebrations as well. Feel free to leave plans, crafts, or fun ideas in the comments. We love to hear from you! Until next time, Blessings and Shalom as you continue to "pursue the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua"-Phil 4:13

Hello friends and readers! As you know we have Shabbat School every Saturday around lunch time with our kids where they get a Bible lesson. Bible Pathway Adventures is one of our favorite resources! We are just finishing the "Shabbat" book and getting ready to start this one on the SPRING FEASTS! Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits are all coming up next month and shortly we will get the house in order.....cleaning out all leavened products and decorating for Passover!
If you want a simple way to explain these amazing Feast Days to your children that are so full of our: History, prophecy, and symbolism of Yeshua I strongly encourage you to look for yourself at investing into these books. Let us keep the feast! Therefore let us celebrate the feast not with old hametz, the hametz of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened bread—the matzah of sincerity and truth. 1 Cor 5:8 TLV LINK: Shop for Ages 6-12 – Bible Pathway Adventures Until next time, Blessings and Shalom as you continue to "pursue the upward calling of God in Messiah Yeshua"-Phil 4:13 *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. Z is doing the "Living Art Lessons" via Masterbooks and her project was the tissue paper lake with flowers. She did a beautiful job learning about texture in art. We have been working with O, he is in 1st grade....but we have been working with him on appreciating his family members and thinking on these things: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise--dwell on these things." Phil 4:8 TLV So his craft was an "encouragement tree" to think of positive character traits of people within his family and give them a leaf. He included Yeshua Messiah! But his leaves say:

This is a simple post to cover our "Shabbat School" Lesson last week.
Many of you know that we have a house church you can read more about that here: Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 - Pursuing the upward call of God in Messiah Yeshua- Phil 3:14 "House Fellowship...let's talk about it!" I say that to say, we do not have a traditional kids class or what may traditionally be known as "Sunday school" Why? 1) We keep Shabbat and guard commandment #4- so Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is our day of rest and worship (ie: Shabbat) 2) All children are involved in our regular service for various reasons So on Shabbat morning after a bit of free time around lunch the kids come get together and we have, "Shabbat School" with a lesson.
