Hi friends, parents, and readers!
This week our oldest learned about the Solar System and planets. I ordered the "Planet system planetarium" off of Amazon for $20. In addition to the book reading and worksheet, she completed the planetarium and closed out the lesson with this video: https://youtu.be/d8y8kc317EE from Homeschool Pop. She was excited about this lesson and thought it was neat. She did say the painting was tedious and not her fave. But overall it was an enjoyable lesson! Next week our youngest is diving into -> learning how to tell time! *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. Learning about the cycles of the moon
Homeschool fun! Masterbooks, Adventures in Creation level 1 The kids knew this lesson was coming up and they were both excited. Z will have this lesson in her Science book "God's Design for Life: Heaven & Earth" a bit later but this is something she participated in as well and had fun. After the lesson they had a yummy snack! *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use. Little man's science lesson last week was on Photosynthesis and this week it is on Day 3 of creation dry land and plants. *side note, if you need a catchy theme song for photosynthesis this is a fave around here: Photosynthesis | Two Little Hands TV | Educational | Kids Songs - YouTube * Back on point Basically I purchased a bouquet of flowers from Kroger for $5 and we dissected the parts of the flower and the kids got to examine them under a magnifying glass and microscope! We talked about what fine details Yah put into such delicate, beautiful little living creations! And hoow much more value are we then they in the eyes of our Abba Yah. Both children greatly enjoy little hands on science projects like this and they are not expensive. The book and lesson is from: Adventures in Creation, Masterbooks level 1 "Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or gather into barns; yet your Father in heaven feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. Now if in this way God clothes the grass—which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow—will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For the pagans eagerly pursue all these things; yet your Father in heaven knows that you need all these. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” MT 6:26-34 TLV cource material: Masterbooks.com *side note DISCLAIMER: I do not receive compensation from ANY of the resources I share or use.
